Journalist Huynh Dung Nhan launches book to celebrate 50 years of writing

On the evening of March 16, the book launch event of Huynh Dung Nhan's Anthology - Life and the Writer took place at the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association.

At the intimate press conference, many friends, colleagues, family and students came to congratulate journalist Huynh Dung Nhan on the release of his new book.

Many colleagues expressed their admiration for his writing ability and passion in his career.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh - editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan newspaper, president of Vietnam Journalists Association - shared: "Mr. Huynh Dung Nhan had been sick for a while.

However, he overcame it, persevered and continued writing books. He is an example for future generations like us to learn from and follow."

In the new book, journalist and writer Huynh Dung Nhan writes:

"I thank the pen for giving me all that I have in one life, not just existing in this short life."

If counting from the first poems published in newspapers, up to now Huynh Dung Nhan has had 50 years of literary life and more than 40 years of professional journalism.

In March this year, he released the collection Huynh Dung Nhan - Life and the commemorative pen . 70 years old with 50 years of experience as a "wordsmith".

Journalist Huynh Dung Nhan's new work consists of 7 parts: 10 reports, 10 essays, 10 short stories, 10 poems, 10 poems set to music, 10 paintings and photos.
