Realizing the role of knowledge in building a prosperous, progressive and happy family, in recent years, the Women's Union of Dong Thai village (Yen Phong commune) has initiated and effectively maintained the model of "Family bookcase". This is not only a model with educational value, but also a bright spot in concretizing the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" and the campaign "Building a family of 5 yes, 3 clean". With a simple but practical way, the Union has encouraged each member's family to build a small "book corner" in the house - a place to store books, newspapers, stories, legal documents, books on child rearing, life skills, production experience...

The model of making fertilizer from organic agricultural waste of Ms. Dam Thi Tuyen (Gia Binh commune) is highly effective.

As the Branch President, Ms. Cao Thi Nguyen understands that building a "Family Bookcase" to create a reading space and reading habit in the family for women and children is an extremely necessary task to contribute to building a family "with knowledge" and "with a cultural lifestyle" according to the criteria of the model "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans". At the beginning of its establishment, only 50 member families had family bookcases. Up to now, the village has 100 family bookcases and 1 Women's Reading Promotion Club.

Spreading the spirit of love for books and building a "Family Bookcase" contributes significantly to the early formation and sustainable maintenance of reading habits of family members, especially the elderly and children, arousing the spirit of love for reading, valuing knowledge, stimulating the spirit of self-reading and self-study. The model also becomes a bridge for the Association to integrate propaganda on the policies and laws of the Party and the State, especially those related to gender equality, prevention and control of domestic violence, reproductive health care, environmental protection, etc. Thereby, gradually raising awareness and sense of law compliance of members and family members. The model is highly appreciated not only for its practical effectiveness in the community but also for the consensus and positive response from the members themselves.

If in Dong Thai, the construction of a "Family Bookcase" contributes to the enrichment of knowledge and the development of personality, in Ward 3 (Vu Ninh Ward), the model of "Turning trash into money" brings a creative direction in environmental protection associated with humanitarian and charitable activities - in line with the spirit of "taking small things to do big things", "taking the common good as a guiding principle" of the local women's movement. Based on the reality that urban residential areas often generate large amounts of recycled waste, the Women's Union of the Ward promotes propaganda and mobilizes women members and people to join hands to protect the environment associated with the campaigns "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", "A family of 5 yes's, 3 clean's", and the movement "Each citizen - One thing a day contributes to environmental protection".

In 2021, with a flexible and effective approach, the Association established a Women's Group to collect recycled waste. Members are instructed to classify waste at home, especially collecting recyclable waste such as plastic bottles, paper, beer cans, etc., and periodically bring them to the Association's collection point. Thanks to the model, the Association has funds to give gifts and health insurance cards, support poor women and children in difficult circumstances. Although the amount is not large, the hearts and contributions of dozens of members have been promptly used to give Tet gifts, support books for disadvantaged students, and help members when they are sick.

The special thing is that from this model, many families have changed their living habits, proactively classified and reduced waste, contributing to making the neighborhood cleaner and more civilized. The model of "Turning garbage into money" is not only a good way to build "5 no, 3 clean Association", but also a vivid demonstration of the spirit of community responsibility and sharing of women in modern life - where every small action can contribute to creating positive changes for society.

The mark of a female pioneer

In addition to the typical collectives, many individual women in the province are also striving to rise up, affirming their pioneering role in all areas of social life. In particular, in the economic development movement, there are more and more typical examples of female entrepreneurs, production facility owners, and farmer members who boldly apply science and technology, digital transformation into production and business, create jobs, and increase income for their families and communities. Not only enriching themselves, they also spread the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, contributing to building the image of Bac Ninh women in the new era: Dynamic, creative and responsible to the community.

Bac Ninh women effectively apply IMO probiotics in cultivation and livestock farming.

A typical example is Ms. Bui Thi Mai, Director of Son Mai Breeding Cooperative (Dai Lai Commune), owner of a chicken farm using herbal bran. Every year, the Cooperative supplies tens of thousands of Dong Tao herbal chicken breeds to the market for farmers and commercial hybrid Dong Tao herbal chickens; revenue from 6-7 billion VND/year, average profit reaching 500-600 million VND/year. Originating from the idea of making fertilizer from organic agricultural waste treated with indigenous IMO microorganisms, replacing the investment in buying chemical fertilizers for growing 10 hectares of rice by Ms. Dam Thi Tuyen (Gia Binh Commune); the profit difference between the two rice crops is more than 350 million VND...

Projects in the field of cooperatives and enterprises have also made breakthroughs and innovations in the direction of applying scientific and technological advances to production to create products of high economic value. A typical example is the project of growing mushrooms with high nutritional value of Minh Ngoc Production and General Service Cooperative, directed by Ms. Luong Thi Kim Ngoc (Dong Cuu commune). With a loan of 300 million VND, after nearly 5 years of operation, the Cooperative has earned a profit of nearly 1.5 billion VND (average 330 million VND/year).

Currently, the Cooperative creates jobs for 8 regular workers and many local seasonal workers. It can be seen that throughout the province, more and more outstanding, dynamic and creative women's groups and individuals are appearing, contributing to creating a fresh and vibrant appearance for the women's movement. From rural to urban areas, from economic development, new rural construction, environmental protection, to preserving cultural identity, supporting startups... everywhere you can see the mark of women.

Women not only shine in patriotic emulation movements, but are also present vividly in everyday life, where each initiative contains a sense of responsibility and aspiration to contribute. The exemplary women in all fields are vivid proof of their mettle, intelligence and aspiration to rise up, contributing to building their homeland to be more and more beautiful and civilized. They - the advanced women groups and individuals today - are not only the pride of their homeland Bac Ninh, but also a bright spot of inspiration, contributing to multiplying good values in the community, ready to accompany their homeland in a new stage of development, more united and more sustainable.
