Many attractive activities at the Week of "Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" in 2025.

The "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week in 2025 will have the participation of more than 200 compatriots of 18 ethnic groups (including: Tay, Nung, Dao, Mong, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Co Tu, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Raglai, E De, Khmer, Kinh, Cham Balamon) from 12 localities with compatriots participating in daily activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village and coordinating the organization of events, specifically: More than 100 compatriots of 16 groups of ethnic groups are active daily at the Cultural Villages of localities (Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Son La, Hue, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Can Tho).

Within the framework of the Week "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" in 2025, there will be many activities such as: Opening Program of the Week "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" in 2025 and the 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival in 2025 at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village; 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival in 2025; Scientific workshop on "Preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development"; Program to promote and introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends at the "Common House"; Great Unity of All Ethnic Groups Festival at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village; Festival cultural colors; performance, exchange, and introduction of ethnic cultures.

The organization of the "Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week in 2025 aims to contribute to preserving, promoting and spreading the tradition of great national unity; honoring the rich cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups; organizing practical and meaningful cultural, sports and tourism exchange activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

At the same time, it affirms that the spirit of great national unity is a precious cultural heritage, forged through thousands of years of history of building and defending the country, demonstrating the lasting value of the close bond between ethnic groups in the cause of building, protecting and developing the Fatherland, especially in the current period of industrialization and modernization of the country.

Through activities of experiencing traditional culture in real life with cultural subjects, exchanging ethnic cuisines, etc., we vividly and attractively introduce traditional cultural values of Vietnam to international friends, strengthen friendly relations, demonstrate hospitality, and help international friends deeply understand Vietnamese culture.

Affirming the richness, diversity and unity of Vietnamese cultural identity in the context of international integration contributes to strengthening national pride and raising public awareness of the role in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage in the context of international integration.

In addition, it spreads and promotes national cultural identity, preserves, promotes and honors the unique cultural identity of 54 ethnic groups; promotes the conservation and promotion of cultural heritage of ethnic groups, encourages the active participation of the community in transmitting, creating and applying traditional cultural values to contemporary life, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

At the same time, strengthen the connection and close coordination between localities and relevant units in preserving, maintaining and promoting the values of national cultural heritage; step up the promotion, advertising and development of tourism at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, as well as in participating localities to attract domestic and international tourists, promote local socio-economy and contribute to promoting the image of Vietnam to domestic and international friends.
