Series of special events and activities

The district-level Culture, Sports and Tourism Week took place in late October. To prepare for the event, the District People's Committee soon issued an action plan and assigned specific tasks to units, with main contents such as: Opening ceremony; announcement ceremony, awarding and receiving the decision and Certificate of intangible cultural heritage of the Mong people's blacksmithing craft in Dien Bien province; sports activities, games; experiencing the night market, Tua Chua market; closing ceremony... The district focused on implementing tourism activities before, during and after the organization of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week. The tourism program was deployed in a unique way, from experiencing cultural villages, hamlets, highland markets to checking in terraced fields, stone plateaus, Mid-Autumn pine forests, visiting ancient Shan Tuyet tea areas. The event promises to bring visitors many interesting experiences.

In addition to traditional cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities; the district has added new activities, receiving high consensus from the people as well as the participating delegations. In particular, experiential sports activities are expected to attract a large number of people and tourists. The experiential games organized include blindfolded duck catching, crossing over the bridge, climbing trees to pick fruit, sack jumping, blindfolded drumming. Along with that, the ethnic culinary contest, displaying and introducing typical local products and performing intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities organized for the first time are new features to attract tourists.

The highlight of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week is the program to announce and receive the Certificate of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Mong people's blacksmithing in Dien Bien province. Preparations were carried out carefully, from the display of forged products to the presence of many artisans.

Mr. Luong Tuan Anh, Chairman of Tua Chua District People's Committee, said: The Culture, Sports and Tourism Week aims to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and ethnic groups in the area in preserving and promoting traditional cultural identities. This is also an opportunity for Tua Chua District to introduce and promote the potential for developing types of eco-tourism, community tourism, and typical agricultural products to attract investment resources to serve local tourism development.

Prepare carefully and thoroughly

Present at the Tua Chua District Conference Center, we witnessed the enthusiastic practice atmosphere of more than 90 extras. The music, lyrics, graceful ethnic dances mixed with laughter were very lively and exciting. After nearly 2 weeks of practice, the opening performance program was built with 14 singing, dancing, and music performances. According to Mr. Duong Thanh Son, Deputy Director of the District Cultural - Radio - Television Center: This is an art program that is elaborately and uniquely staged. The performances are imbued with the cultural identity of the ethnic groups in the district, aiming to bring special impressions to the audience and visitors.

Along with the cultural activities, up to now, the preparation stages from content, facilities, security and order have been basically completed, ensuring quality, attractiveness and safety. The work of ensuring food hygiene and safety, care and health for tourists has also been specifically planned.

According to Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong Tuan Anh district, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week is organized with the motto "thoughtful, practical, healthy, economical, quality" in both content and form in promoting tourism, creating impressions on tourists and people. The preparation and implementation of activities are led and directed by the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to ensure implementation according to the set plan. The District People's Committee issues relevant documents and plans and assigns specific tasks. Directs agencies and units to develop detailed plans for each activity in the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week. Strengthen information, propaganda, and widely promote events to people and tourists. In particular, effectively exploit social networks to promote and attract participants; encourage the participation of the community and locality in activities.

As expected, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week will attract thousands of domestic and foreign tourists. To prepare best, the district has urgently completed infrastructure, renovated the landscape of key tourist attractions such as Kho Chua La Cave, Tua Chua town night market, Ta Phin stone plateau... Localities and relevant agencies have conducted inspections, requested cultural service businesses, tourist accommodation, and food and beverage establishments to improve service quality, list prices and sell at the listed prices, not increase service prices before, during and after the Week.
