Units put up prohibition signs and were on duty to guide traffic flow for people.

In addition, the rain and floods also caused potholes on National Highway 1 in Quang Tri province, 20m2/25 locations; Hue city, 190m2; Ho Chi Minh road in Quang Tri, section Km923+00-Km1085+105, the road surface was damaged, 750m2/11 locations; Hue city, the road surface was damaged, 60m2.

To overcome and ensure traffic safety after storm No. 10, the Vietnam Road Administration has directed road management areas to coordinate with traffic police and local authorities to clear collapsed rocks and soil from the road surface, and arrange barriers and signs to ensure traffic.

Previously, from the afternoon of September 29, in Ha Tinh, the authorities had put up warning signs, erected barriers, set up checkpoints at both ends of the flooded area, banned vehicles from passing through, and instructed drivers to follow the Hong Linh bypass or inner-city roads. Although the rain has stopped, according to the Ha Tinh Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, the amount of water from upstream is still large, so the flooding may last until the afternoon of September 30. The forces are still closely monitoring the situation to soon restore traffic on the North-South arterial route. Traffic forces, police and local authorities are on duty 24/7 to direct traffic and ensure safety for people and vehicles.
