In early April 2025, the work of raising the roof steel structure (Central location) reached its completion level. The central steel roof of Long Thanh Airport's passenger terminal weighs more than 5,300 tons.

According to ACV, to ensure watertightness before the rainy season, the entire roof of Long Thanh Airport's passenger terminal will be completed with two layers of roofing, including layer 1-decking and skylight, by mid-July 2025. According to the Prime Minister's request, Long Thanh Airport's passenger terminal must be basically completed by the end of 2025 and completed and put into operation in the first half of 2026, in sync with all other items of the project.
