To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection activities, Nghe An Traffic Police force has made changes in accordance with requirements, functions and tasks, and in accordance with new regulations.
Check the terminal carefully to ensure the safety of each trip.
On December 26, implementing the plan to inspect peak traffic during the New Year, Lunar New Year and Spring Festival 2024, the Traffic Inspection Team of Region 1, under the Nghe An Department of Transport Inspectorate, deployed forces to inspect at bus stations in the area.
Traffic police check passenger vehicles for compliance with legal regulations before departure.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hau - Head of Traffic Police Team Zone 1 said: This year, the inspection of passenger transport business activities during the Tet peak period will have some changes compared to previous years. The inspection force will increase inspections at bus stations and units instead of organizing traffic control checkpoints, directly inspecting and handling vehicles that violate traffic safety and order.
This adjustment helps to prevent traffic safety risks early, ensuring that each vehicle has fully complied with the provisions of the law before leaving the station. At the same time, it is in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Inspection and the Law on Traffic Safety and Order.
According to Giao thong Newspaper reporters at Bac Vinh bus station and the Eastern bus station, the two stations with the largest number of vehicles operating in Nghe An province. Serving over 300 vehicles with about more than 1,000 passengers per day.
Inspection and testing work is carried out regularly and continuously so that transport companies and businesses always comply with regulations.
Here, inspection teams will be on duty at the bus station, checking each vehicle and driver as they prepare to register and get into the vehicle. Drivers are required to present their driver's license, transport order, employee card and other documents as required.
For vehicles, the inspection force checks the vehicle's safety systems such as: passenger seat belts, emergency hammers, fire extinguishers and especially checks the operating status of the journey monitoring device and dash cam. 100% of drivers are required to open the software to access data, ensure that the prescribed features are working properly and transmit data to the State management agency.
Through inspection, no violations were detected. Driver Nguyen Van Chien (driving sleeper bus with license plate 50H706.40, belonging to Futa Ha Son Company) said: The unit has just opened a new route from Vinh to Nuoc Ngam bus station ( Hanoi ) and vice versa with 10 new vehicles, so I was transferred from the Hanoi - Lao Cai route to support. In our company, we have very clear regulations and separate sanctions for the team of drivers and assistants. From uniforms, service attitude to compliance with regulations when traveling on the vehicle, all must be done correctly. The company also has a team specializing in monitoring through the dash cam system to ensure that vehicles always comply. Just wearing the wrong uniform or the driver answering the phone while driving will immediately have his salary deducted.
Similarly, driver Vo Tuan Anh (Anh Kiet bus company, Vinh - Que Phong route) said: We must comply with the regulations of the State. First is our safety and the safety of passengers. If we violate the regulations, when the inspector checks or meets the traffic police, we will be fined. And now is the peak season, they check every day, there is no reason for us to violate the regulations.
The functions and tasks of the inspectorate have been more clearly defined, so the inspection force has been adjusted, specialized inspection activities have been strengthened and the sense of responsibility of those performing public duties has been enhanced.
