On the evening of September 1, a special national art program with the theme of 80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness took place in a sacred and emotional atmosphere.
With a grand scale, nearly 3,000 professional and amateur artists from many large art units gathered, the program was elaborately staged, combining music , dance, fine arts and modern projection technology.

Chapter 1 - The Road to Reunification , the audience seemed to relive the painful but heroic years of the nation. The opening atmosphere surged with the symphony My Fatherland performed by the Symphony and National Orchestra and TRE Dance Group.
The haunting melodies in the scene Long Slave Night (artist Xuan Hoach and the Symphony Orchestra, Ethnic Group) depict the miserable, dark life of our people before the Party came into being.
With a hearty voice, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, along with the choir and orchestra, performed the song "Footprints in the Front" recreating the historical turning point when Nguyen Ai Quoc found the path to national liberation.
The revolutionary atmosphere was ignited with the resounding chorus of The Internationale and then blended with the sound of war drums in the songs " Let's go together, red soldiers" and "National Defense Army" sung by Dong Hung, Hoang Hiep and Anh Tu.
When Dang Duong, Sen Hoang Lam, Hoang Hong Ngoc and the artists sang the song August 19 , the audience seemed to see again the sea of people on the historic General Uprising day - the uprising that wrote the golden page of the Declaration of Independence.
The heroic sounds continue in the medley of Hanoians - Lo River - Dien Bien Victory performed by the Oplus group and Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc. The fiery space of victory ends with the scene of the liberation of the South and the melody of The Country is Full of Joy performed by the Ngu Cung band and the children's choir.

Chapter 2 - Aspiration for the Fatherland , the audience was moved by the melodies Mother loves child and What is more beautiful mixed with the painful but indomitable images of heroic Vietnamese mothers. The appearance of the cast of the movie Red Rain in the performance What is more beautiful moved the audience.
The atmosphere of labor and construction surged with the songs "Em di giua bien vang" and "Sing about rice plants today" . Rapper Den Vau brought a new color when he harmonized with Khanh Chi, Vu Thuy Linh and the children's choir, breathing a youthful, modern breath into the auditorium.
The flame of dedication and youthful aspiration flared up with the special collaboration between singer My Tam and rapper Double2T in the song Youth Aspiration, which was vibrantly staged with the TRE dance troupe.
The atmosphere of integration and openness is praised through the song Welcome to Vietnam performed by the musician himself, Lamoon Diem Hang and the children's choir, bringing freshness and optimism.
Chapter 3 - My homeland, never so beautiful, vividly depicts through music the current period - an integrated Vietnam, firmly stepping into the new era. The song "Solidarity" (based on "Joining Hands Together " - Trinh Cong Son) performed by Hoang Hong Ngoc and rapper Quan Lee.
Male singer Soobin Hoang Son continued with the hit song Vinh quang dang doi ta , creating a vibrant atmosphere, affirming the belief in a developed and powerful Vietnam.
The climax moment arose when the whole auditorium resounded with the Marching Song sung by Trong Tan and the Time Line group in harmony with the children's choir and symphony orchestra.
And in the bright light, the sweet melodies of Love Vietnam's Smile performed by Tung Duong, People's Artist Thanh Lam and the choir closed the program in joy and pride.
