(NADS) - On February 28, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 207 on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Ho An Phong - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST).

Mr. Ho An Phong was born in 1971, in An Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province. He was born and raised in Loc Xa village, Son Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province.

Mr. Phong has held the following positions: Official of the Children's Cultural House; Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Youth Union; Secretary of the Quang Trach District Party Committee; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Binh Province; Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Binh Province; Director of the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh Province; Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Ho An Phong graduated with a bachelor's degree in Journalism, a bachelor's degree in Politics, and a bachelor's degree in English.
