"Villain" Red Rain paired with "Ut Trong" Southern Forest Land

For the first time, Luong Gia Huy - who just made an impression with his role in "Red Rain" will collaborate with Bich Ngoc, "Ut Trong" of "Dat Rung Phuong Nam" in director Hoang Tho's debut project - "Blindfolded Deer Catcher".

Amidst the influx of Vietnamese films hitting theaters, Blind Man's Catch is expected to bring something different with its hidden aspects of marriage and love, along with the inner complexity of each character.

This is the forte of director Hoang Tho, who made his name with a series of TV series such as: The Underworld, Going Home to Get Married, The Pain of Happiness, Dance Among Wolves ...

The film begins when Trang (Thai Tra My), a real estate agent, is raped while entertaining a client. Panicking that Hiep (Dung Bino), her lover, will break up with her if he finds out, she “lures” him to a homestay to get his proposal.

There, Trang meets the homestay owner named Long (Luong Gia Huy), who looks like the pervert who harmed her. Ngoc (Bich Ngoc), Long's wife, is also present and always seems to accept her husband. Trang secretly investigates Long to find out the truth.

According to director Hoang Tho, he wanted to create a film that, after watching, the audience would be haunted by the story, the strange but realistic theme, revolving around the reaction of each woman in society towards crime.

The story takes the audience through the journey of crime, observing the hidden corners of the character's emotions, opening the way for sympathy or opposing thoughts in the viewer.

Participating in Blind Man's Bluff are promising young actors of Vietnamese cinema, including names that have more or less left an impression on audiences on the big screen in recent times.

Notably, supermodel Luong Gia Huy - who is being noticed with the nickname "the most muscular villain" in the movie Red Rain . Before Blindfolded Deer Catcher and Red Rain , he participated in a number of TV series such as: Wish We Could Fly Together, Sugar Baby and is a familiar face on fashion runways and beauty contests for men.

Luong Gia Huy will collaborate for the first time with Bich Ngoc, a pure-looking Gen Z girl who was loved for her role as Ut Trong in Dat Rung Phuong Nam . Recently, Bich Ngoc has also appeared in many films: Cau Vang, Huong Vi Tinh Than, Hanh Phuc Bi Dan Stolen, Luoi Troi ... and scored points thanks to her emotional acting ability and expressive eyes.

The last piece in the main cast is Thai Tra My - a familiar face from web dramas: Gia Nhan, Bo Gia Noi Loan , and the movie Co Co Gia Gia 2 .

Blind Man's Bluff is scheduled to premiere on September 26.
