Specifically, at Km96+800 on National Highway 31, the road surface has horizontal cracks, landslides and vertical cracks, the crack is 10 cm wide, sunk about 50 cm deeper than the current road surface with a total length of about 30 m.

In addition, on National Highway 31, there are 10 landslides with rocks and soil falling onto the road surface with a total length of about 192 m at Km71+970, Km93+505; Km93+285, Km73+010, Km87+600, Km89+900, Km89+720 passing through the communes of Son Dong and Van Son.
On National Highway 279 through Duong Huu commune, there were landslides and rocks falling onto the roadway at 7 locations with a total length of about 78 m. Specifically at the locations: Km50+670, Km51+850, Km52+590, Km53+620, Km 58+950, Km59+210, Km61+120.
On Provincial Road 248, landslides occurred in ditches, underground passages, and horizontal drainage culverts at 6 locations, with a total length of about 114 m at the following locations: Km9+930, Km17+970, Km18+015, Km18+190, Km24+880, Km 25+300 passing through Sa Ly commune. On Provincial Roads 291 and 291C, landslides occurred in the roadway passing through Tuan Dao and Dai Son communes with a total length of more than 40 m.

Faced with the above situation, the Department of Construction has directed specialized units to put up warning signs and barriers at landslide locations and arrange guards to regulate traffic.
At the same time, request the Bac Ninh Road Maintenance Management Board to coordinate with contractors to regularly maintain roads; inspect the scene, determine damage and defects.
Arrange forces to direct traffic flow to ensure traffic safety on the route; install signs, drive stakes and stretch warning barriers at landslide locations and place safety guardrails.

The Department has been directing relevant units to mobilize vehicles and equipment to immediately clear and fix areas of soil and rocks spilling onto the road to ensure smooth traffic and facilitate people's travel.
For the severely damaged road surface at Km96+800 on Highway 31, the Department of Construction has put up warning signs, divided traffic groups, and arranged 24/7 security forces. The Department continues to monitor the damage of this road section to propose to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to declare an emergency situation and order urgent construction according to regulations.
