On the afternoon of March 20, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to summarize the emulation covenant in 2023 and launch the emulation movement in 2024. Attending the conference were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Anh Dung; representatives of departments, branches, unions and individuals and collectives that were awarded.
In 2023, patriotic emulation movements in localities continued to receive attention and direction from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, agencies, units, localities and emulation clusters and blocs, and effectively implemented. The launching of emulation movements in agencies, units and localities was widely deployed in line with the requirements of political tasks, goals and socio-economic development targets assigned by ministries, branches and the Provincial People's Committee. Typically, the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas"; the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind"; the emulation movement "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste"; the emulation movement "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to practice office culture"...
Through the implementation of emulation movements, we have encouraged, aroused, maintained and promoted the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of great national unity, diligence, dynamism, creativity, self-reliance, self-improvement, created new motivation, new factors in the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, contributing to the achievement of economic development targets, ensuring social security, maintaining political stability, national defense, security, ensuring social order and safety. Along with that, the commendation work continues to be innovated, increasingly substantive, timely commendation and reward, right subjects, focusing on small groups, direct laborers, typical advanced examples, good people, good deeds...
At the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Anh Dung launched a broad and comprehensive patriotic emulation movement in 2024 throughout the province's political system. Phase 1 (from now until June 30, 2024); phase 2 (from July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024). In order for the patriotic emulation movement to spread widely in all areas of social life and all classes of people in the province, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development targets, national defense and security in 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested all levels and sectors to continue to well implement the Resolutions and Directives of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Prime Minister on emulation and commendation work and launching emulation to successfully carry out the annual and 5-year socio-economic development tasks (2021 - 2025). Pursuant to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council, each level and each sector urgently develops a plan to organize, launch and promote patriotic emulation movements with effective and practical solutions at all levels, sectors and all classes of people in the province to strive to complete ahead of schedule and exceed all assigned tasks, targets and plans in 2024.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that it is necessary to improve the responsibility of leaders, innovate the management methods of the administrative apparatus, focus on the grassroots, closely follow political tasks, key and urgent tasks to organize and launch appropriate emulation campaigns according to each topic. Focus on reviewing, cutting down and simplifying administrative procedures and business regulations, not allowing new procedures to arise. Effectively implement solutions to improve scores and raise the rankings of the province's PAR INDEX, SIPAS, PAPI, PCI&PGI, DDCI indexes... Speed up the implementation of key projects and works, disburse public investment capital, promote the province's socio-economic development, ensure social security and welfare, improve the material and spiritual life of the people. Proactively detect, foster and replicate advanced models associated with commendation and rewards; Promote and arouse the spirit of innovation, dare to think, dare to do, determined to strive to excellently complete the political tasks of agencies, units and localities, contributing to the completion of socio-economic, security and defense targets in 2024...
Responding to the patriotic emulation movement in 2024 launched by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of Party committees, authorities and people of 10 districts, towns, cities and departments, branches, and enterprises of 15 Emulation Clusters and Emulation Blocks under the Provincial People's Committee signed an emulation covenant determined to strive to fulfill the tasks set out in 2024.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded emulation flags to 12 collectives with outstanding achievements leading the provincial emulation bloc; and awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 20 collectives with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement 2023.
