Headless body of woman found, suspected of murder

(NLDO) - Local people discovered a woman's body missing her head and legs, drifting ashore in Quang Nam.

On February 10, the leader of the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police said they were investigating the cause of death of a woman whose body was recently discovered in the area.

Identifying features on the victim's arm

Earlier, at about 8:40 a.m. the same day, Tam Quang Commune Police, Nui Thanh District, Quang Nam Province received a report from local residents about the discovery of part of a human body drifting ashore in An Hai Dong Village, Tam Quang Commune.

Through verification, the victim was identified as a female. The body only had the torso from the abdomen up, without the head or legs. The body had four silver bracelets on its left wrist; the ring finger of the left hand had a silver ring with a flower-shaped face and a stone.

Through the autopsy, the authorities determined that this was likely a murder case. The authorities are taking steps to identify the victim.
