Promoting the spirit of the August Revolution, realizing the aspiration for prosperity

Nowadays, when the aspiration for power and prosperity is becoming the common aspiration of the entire nation, the lesson of “the power of the people” shines even brighter. In Thanh Hoa - the land of “spiritual land and talented people” - the spirit of the August Revolution has been and is being creatively applied to turn the aspiration for prosperity into reality, as Uncle Ho advised: “Thanh Hoa must become a model province”.

The August Revolution succeeded because of the people's strength and heart. The people were the main agents of the rapid uprising, bringing the government into their hands. That lesson has been with the nation for the past 80 years: if we rely on the people, arouse their aspirations and beliefs, all difficulties can be overcome, all goals can be achieved.

During the resistance war, Thanh Hoa was a great rear base, providing food, human resources, and material resources to the frontline, contributing to the great victories of the nation. In peacetime , Thanh Hoa gradually affirmed its position and role as a new growth pole in the North of the Fatherland. From Nghi Son Economic Zone - the national key industrial and energy center, to the new rural construction movement spreading throughout the villages; from strategic infrastructure projects to increasingly prosperous social security work... all thanks to the unity, solidarity, and unanimity of the people.

Thanh Hoa sets the goal of "becoming a modern industrial province by 2030, with people having a higher standard of living than the national average; becoming a rich, civilized, modern, comprehensively developed and exemplary province by 2045" - That is not only the political determination of the entire Party and political system, but also the aspiration of millions of Thanh people. To realize that goal, Thanh Hoa province needs to continue: building a clean political system, close to the people, close to the people and for the people; arousing the spirit of innovation and creativity, the desire to contribute in the young generation; mobilizing the combined strength of the whole society, so that each person becomes a subject of the homeland construction.

From the lesson of “people’s heart power” of the August Revolution, Thanh Hoa today continues to affirm: people’s heart power is the foundation, the driving force to realize the aspiration for prosperity. With a steadfast revolutionary tradition, with a strong aspiration to rise up, with the unity of the whole Party, the whole army and the whole people, we believe that Thanh Hoa will soon become a model province as Uncle Ho always wished.
