The image of officers and soldiers with their youth, determination, overcoming the sun and rain, enthusiastically practicing on the training ground has contributed to improving the quality of training and combat readiness of the provincial armed forces over the past years. The young soldiers also took the lead in activities such as Youth Month, March Border Month, Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, Green March, models of "Nurturing Knowledge", "Following Children to School", "Comradely Love"... contributing to taking care of the lives of poor people and students. From these activities, they contributed to political education, ideology, ethics, lifestyle, helping officers, union members and youths deeply understand their roles and responsibilities in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Continuing the achievements and making progress in the current period, the consolidation of the province, the arrangement and reorganization of the armed forces put very high demands on the staff, officers, especially young officers. Captain Huynh Van Trong, Assistant for Mass Work, Political Department, Provincial Military Command has just been recognized as an advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings nationwide for the 8th time - 2025, clearly demonstrating his pioneering spirit in the new period. Mr. Trong said: "I constantly practice political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, actively study to improve qualifications, professional expertise; proactively and creatively organize Youth Union activities in accordance with the unit's tasks and the aspirations of union members and youth. At the same time, I will promote the role of setting an example, actively advising, proposing practical and effective models and movements, creating a training environment, striving for union members and youth to promote the spirit of pioneering and creativity".
Armed forces youth give gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the province
As a young, dynamic and proactive female officer, Senior Lieutenant Tran Huynh Thi Le Huyen believes that in the current new period, young officers need to proactively adapt and quickly grasp new tasks. “In my position as Political Assistant of the General Staff Department, Provincial Military Command, I always clearly identify my responsibilities, proactively advise and propose appropriate measures to improve the quality of Party work, political work in training, combat readiness and unexpected tasks. Regularly study, improve knowledge and skills, stay close to the base, grasp the ideological situation of the troops, contribute to building a strong and comprehensive unit, and successfully complete assigned political tasks in the new situation”.
Receiving a working assignment at the Provincial Military Command after the merger, Senior Lieutenant Vo Minh Dong, Assistant for Mass Affairs, Political Department shared: “My house is in Cho Vam commune. When working away from home, the biggest difficulty for me is missing my family, relatives and the lack of sharing, encouragement and closeness from my family during times of work pressure”. The new living conditions and working environment require quick adaptation. Mr. Dong confirmed: “I maintain my spirit and courage, actively train, be close to my comrades and teammates, consider the unit as home, and teammates as brothers. I proactively arrange reasonable time to keep in touch, encourage my family, thereby creating motivation to complete assigned tasks well”.
In the new period, Colonel Huynh Van Khoi, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, emphasized the requirement: “First of all, each cadre and officer of the armed forces needs to uphold the sense of responsibility, maintain political will, steadfast ideology, and be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks. Uncle Ho's soldiers need to proactively adapt to organizational changes, constantly study, improve their qualifications and working methods; promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, and contribute to building the local armed forces to be increasingly disciplined and elite, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.”
