Promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in residential areas

To improve the quality and efficiency of operations, the Fatherland Front at all levels and socio -political organizations actively direct their activities to the grassroots and residential areas, promoting their core role in widely implementing patriotic emulation campaigns and movements.

Fatherland Front at all levels and socio-political organizations Synchronously deploy patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, focusing on implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the province with many diverse and creative forms, models, and specific tasks associated with implementing political tasks and goals, socio-economic development such as: Building models and tasks to develop production, reduce poverty, mobilize resources in society to participate in contributing to completing the criteria in building new rural areas, mobilize households, villages, neighborhoods, communes, wards, and towns to implement the criteria to achieve the title of "Cultural Family", "Cultural Village, Neighborhood", "Typical Commune, Ward, and Town", build a cultural and civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festival organization.

Every year, the Fatherland Front Committee coordinates with mass organizations in residential areas to propagate and mobilize people to support, contribute funds, workdays, donate hundreds of thousands of square meters of land, install thousands of security cameras at key public locations in residential areas... in implementing the program of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas in the locality. Typically, in 2024, the Fatherland Front at all levels of Mong Cai City and its member organizations mobilized people to contribute funds to participate in rural infrastructure construction and urban beautification worth 9.6 billion VND, donate 8,524 square meters of land, plant over 15,000 trees, and mobilize nearly 3,900 workdays. The Fatherland Front of Ha Long City deployed the installation of 1,570 security cameras at key locations on main roads, key alleys, traffic junctions, schools, hospitals, and traditional markets...

In 3 years (2022-2024), the Fatherland Front coordinated with political and social organizations at all levels to launch emulation campaigns to deploy 1,257 models to celebrate political events of the province and localities. Effectively implementing the National Target Program on sustainable poverty reduction associated with the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", especially for new rural construction and socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in ethnic minority areas, which is identified as a key, continuous and long-term task. Promoting the nation's tradition of "Mutual love and affection", connecting and spreading kindness to the poor, with the leading role, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have coordinated with member organizations to undertake activities to care for Tet for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households...

From 2022 to present, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have maintained 100% mobilization of socialized resources, not using the budget to implement the "Tet for the Poor" Program. In the past 3 years, socialized resources have been mobilized to present 668,496 Tet gifts, worth more than 358 billion VND. Focusing on mobilizing social resources to support localities in completing environmental and housing criteria for poor, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances in the area with a total budget of 157.8 billion VND to support the construction and repair of 2,513 Great Solidarity houses with a total amount of 106.9 billion VND; supporting Binh Lieu and Ba Che districts to build 827 hygienic toilets; launching and calling on organizations and individuals to support people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3 in 2024...

The movements "All people protect national security", "All people participate in protecting sovereignty , territory, and national border security in the new situation", "All people prevent and fight fires" are focused on; the work of preventing drugs, crimes, social evils, ensuring security and order, and traffic safety is concretized with many creative models, associated with practical requirements of the locality. Or the movement "Creative solidarity" associated with comprehensive digital transformation according to Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU dated February 5, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee, the Fatherland Front together with member organizations established nearly 1,500 community digital technology groups with more than 11,000 members, the core of which is the youth force. With many efforts and flexible approaches, community digital technology groups have actively supported people, making important contributions to promoting digital transformation in the whole province.

Along with that, the work of participating in Party building, government building, anti-corruption, negativity and waste prevention has gradually become more substantial and effective, clearly demonstrating the role of the front, especially the work of electing National Assembly deputies, People's Council deputies at all levels, and electing village, hamlet and neighborhood chiefs. The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have played a good role in presiding over and coordinating with socio-political organizations at all levels in the province to negotiate and unify plans for social supervision and criticism; improve the quality of activities of the People's Inspectorate and Community Investment Supervision Boards. Over the past 3 years, the People's Inspectorate and Community Investment Supervision Boards have organized nearly 4,000 supervisions of works and projects in the area, detected violations and proposed timely remedies...

Towards the grassroots, each residential area, through specific activities,   The Fatherland Front at all levels and socio-political organizations arouse the tradition of solidarity among the people.   consolidate and expand the great national unity bloc,   contributing to social stability and economic development in the area .
