Animated documentary about the daughter of Yen The Tiger

After the animated series She-Kings portraying the seven female generals who fought alongside the Trung Sisters in the uprising against the Han army, DeeDee Animation Studio and Avalook recently introduced the first footage of the HERstory project, bringing new perspectives on women who have strongly or quietly contributed to making history.

The first character to be exploited is Hoang Thi The - daughter of the Yen The Tiger Hoang Hoa Tham with the project Hoang Thi The - Fate and Destiny . Ms. Hoang Thi The was born in the mountains and forests, in the headquarters of the Yen The insurgents. When she grew up, she became the adopted daughter of the Minister of Colonies Albert Sarraut and the Governor General of Indochina Paul Doumer. It was this twisted relationship that made her a special witness of Vietnamese history. In France, she participated in acting in films of the famous Paramount studio and then married a French bourgeois. These turning points helped the main character's story become thrilling and attractive.

Not stopping at Hoang Thi The, the film also recreates the "universe" of Yen The, the image of De Tham as well as important historical milestones in this uprising that lasted nearly 30 years.

The project has a graphic style, inspired by Vietnamese silk paintings in the form of an animated documentary, in which each frame is a vivid silk painting.
