Memory is where old photos and trembling voices reveal a century. The price of independence is blood-stained notebooks, the tears of a wife caring for her bedridden husband, the eyes of a soldier returning home with no one waiting. Heritage is the sound of the Marching Band singing loudly. in the house of the son of musician Van Cao, is Tu Van village sewn with bright red flags, is old hands holding young hands in the middle of a sea of fluttering flags. It is not a simple series of scenes but becomes a symphony of images and emotions.

Major - editor Le Hoa said that there were times when the whole crew fell silent, when a veteran tremblingly turned the pages of the battlefield notebook, or when poet Huu Thinh whispered to his nephew about the two words "independence". These scenes were not staged by the director, but were ordinary moments, but full of weight.

Cinematographer Doan Manh said he let the sunlight fill the room when musician Van Thao sat down to play the first notes of Tien Quan Ca. The drone was raised to reveal the sea of bright red flags in Tu Van village, like a long field of memories. The art of filming here does not show off techniques, but quietly serves emotions, thereby conveying the message: "Independence is memory, blood and tears, but above all it is a legacy left for descendants".

The documentary Independence is scheduled to air at 10:25 a.m. on September 1.
