Dissemination of labor and employment laws and dialogue with businesses

(DN) - On September 17, the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province chaired and coordinated with departments, branches and units to organize a conference to disseminate and popularize laws on labor and employment and exchange and dialogue with businesses in the province.

Attending the event were Director of the Department of Employment (Ministry of Home Affairs) Vu Trong Binh; Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province Nguyen Huu Dinh along with leaders of departments, branches and 700 delegates representing enterprises in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Huu Dinh emphasized: Dong Nai is one of the key industrial provinces of the country. In recent years, with the support of all levels, sectors and especially the business community, the implementation of labor law regulations has had many positive changes, the labor relations between employees and employers are basically stable. However, besides the achieved results, there are still many limitations.

Specifically, as of August 31, 2025, in the province, there were 587 enterprises owing social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and occupational accident insurance with a total amount of over 302 billion VND.

Regarding the labor relations situation, there are still enterprises that have not strictly complied with the provisions of labor law, leading to petitions, complaints, and denunciations from employees... The conference aims to inform enterprises of current regulations related to labor law, employment, social insurance, and occupational safety and hygiene.

The conference deployed the following contents: Decree No. 219/2025/ND-CP dated August 7, 2025 of the Government regulating foreign workers working in Vietnam; information on the National Online Employment Exchange; work on building a database of employment and occupational safety fields. At the same time, there was a dialogue between agencies, departments and enterprises, contributing to building a safe and modern business environment.
