In Gia Lai , there are 1,300 electric vehicles in operation and 36 VGreen electric vehicle charging stations operating in 14 districts, towns and cities (equivalent to 78 charging stations and 128 electric car ports in operation). There are currently 20 locations that are being deployed and have not been able to continue because the Department of Industry and Trade has issued a document requesting to stop energizing charging stations in Gia Lai province on the grounds that charging stations are level 3 energy projects of all sizes, so they need to be inspected and accepted by the Department before being put into operation; in addition, there are a number of issues related to land use planning and construction permits. Accordingly, the VGreen representative requested the Department of Industry and Trade to issue a document adjusting the regulations for charging stations that are purely electrical equipment so that the Electricity Department has a basis for energizing; The provincial People's Committee leaders directed local units to create conditions for VGreen to deploy charging stations in the province, with overall planning for electric vehicle charging stations (no fixed planning required for each location); create conditions for VGreen to build and install electric vehicle charging equipment in central areas.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que requested the Department of Industry and Trade to withdraw the document requesting the electricity sector not to supply electricity; in the coming time, it is necessary to clearly stipulate that all equipment attached to utility works (supermarkets, gas stations, etc.) is a charging device, VGreen must invite functional units to inspect to ensure fire prevention and fighting work, if meeting all conditions, it will be put into operation; if charging stations are built, they must be implemented according to regulations. The Department of Industry and Trade also stopped planning points for building electric charging stations. It is recommended that departments, branches, and localities continue to support and create conditions for Vinfast to develop because this is a large corporation, developing in accordance with the National orientation on green transformation.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also said that currently, Gia Lai province has a great need to develop bus routes to tourist destinations such as: Bien Ho, Dai Doan Ket Square,... He requested the Company to research products suitable for the financial level of businesses, currently the smallest car is 3 billion VND which is too high, capital recovery is difficult for businesses, he requested to consider and have support solutions for businesses with investment needs.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized: Gia Lai province is orienting its development to become an "Ecological, sports and health plateau"; Pleiku city is also orienting its development to become a "Smart urban area, green plateau for health". The province pays great attention to developing a green life, so Gia Lai province fully supports Vinfast's development orientation, because the enterprise's orientation coincides with Gia Lai's development orientation. Currently, Gia Lai has many projects on tourism, ecology, resorts, urban areas, ... He hopes that in the coming time, the province will be ready to invite VINGROUP to work and cooperate with the province, and can sign a memorandum of cooperation to develop together. In the near future, the Gia Lai-Quy Nhon expressway is about to start construction; Pleiku airport is also planned, upgraded, expanded, and the runway length is extended from 2,600 m to 3,000 m, the province can meet the development needs of tourism; Furthermore, it is likely that in 2025, the province will start construction on 2 golf courses... With all those conditions, he believes that if Vinfast cooperates with Gia Lai, it will bring success./.
