(gialai.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of October 21, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters (Pleiku Ward), Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que chaired a meeting to listen to the Pleiku Ward People's Committee report on the implementation of planning and projects in the ward. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Department of Construction, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and representatives of the branch of the Finance and Enterprise Development Joint Stock Company in Gia Lai (FBS Company).

At the meeting, the leaders of Pleiku Ward People's Committee reported on the implementation of planning work and the progress of projects in the area, including: Tra Da social housing area; project at 15-17 Truong Chinh; Hoa Lu - Phu Dong new urban area; and Se San Hotel area (89 Hung Vuong), Pleiku Ward. At the same time, the Ward People's Committee also pointed out the difficulties and obstacles in the process of planning and implementing projects in the past time.

Accordingly, for the Tra Da Social Housing Project, the People's Committee of Pleiku Ward proposed that the Provincial People's Committee assign the Ward People's Committee to be the investor to implement the project, and at the same time coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to carry out compensation and site clearance work to create a clean land fund, serving to attract investment in social housing projects and worker housing in this area.

Currently, the Ward People's Committee is adjusting the master plan of the commercial center, service and housing complex project at 15-17 Truong Chinh. After the planning levels are completed and approved, the Ward People's Committee will prepare a dossier to propose the Provincial People's Committee to approve the investment policy.

For the project in the Se San Hotel area and surrounding areas, the Ward People's Committee is implementing the master plan. After the plan is completed and approved, the Ward People's Committee will prepare a dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the investment policy. In addition, the Pleiku Ward People's Committee has also urged FBS Company to speed up the implementation of the Hoa Lu - Phu Dong New Urban Area project, in accordance with the directives of the Provincial People's Committee.

After listening to the report of Pleiku ward leaders and related departments and branches, concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que requested Pleiku ward to review, arrange and improve the apparatus to ensure effective and efficient operation. At the same time, it is necessary to review the report so that the Provincial People's Committee has a basis to mobilize, rotate and supplement cadres and civil servants with sufficient professional qualifications in charge of the fields of planning, architecture, construction, meeting the requirements of local tasks.

Regarding the projects, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que requested the Department of Construction to guide the ward to adjust the detailed planning; the Pleiku Ward People's Committee needs to speed up the progress of project implementation, completing the targets according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee. This is to contribute to promoting local socio -economic development, building the image of Pleiku urban area to be increasingly civilized and clean.
