Phu Tho: Press conference, information on the results of the 1st Provincial Party Congress

On the afternoon of September 30, the Organizing Committee of the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 held a press conference to inform the results of the Congress.

Informing the press, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Luong Duc Minh affirmed that the Congress is a political event of special importance, marking a new development step for the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho province. With careful and active preparation and the approval of the Politburo; after 2 days of urgent, serious, united, democratic, intellectual and highly responsible work before the Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in the province, the Congress has completed all the contents and programs set out.

Specifically, the Congress was attended by 500 official delegates representing the intelligence, will, aspirations and determination of more than 257 thousand party members in the entire provincial Party Committee. The delegates attending the Congress fully, responsibly and actively participated in the Congress's contents and made practical and effective contributions to the success of the Congress.

Before the Congress sessions, on the morning of September 29, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings who founded the country and offered incense and laid flowers to commemorate the Heroes and Martyrs.

The preparatory meeting elected the Presidium of 15 comrades, the Secretariat of 2 comrades and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 5 comrades. Discussed and voted to approve the Working Program, Internal Rules and Working Regulations of the Congress. The Congress discussed the draft Report synthesizing comments on the draft documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; the draft Report synthesizing comments on the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress. Announced the decision to establish 36 delegations and 7 discussion groups at the Congress. On the afternoon of September 29, the Congress discussed in groups and discussed in the hall. In the 7 discussion groups, there were a total of 85 comments on the draft documents.

The Congress received 165 presentations from the affiliated Party Committees, agencies and units of the province on the documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress. At the Congress, there were 6 presentations in the hall focusing on the documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress; the presentations had profound content, analysis, and specific and practical comments on the content of the documents.

On September 30, the Congress opened its official session, announcing the Politburo's Decision to appoint the Phu Tho Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 97 comrades; the Provincial Party Standing Committee consisting of 27 comrades; appointing comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, to hold the position of Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary for the 2025-2030 term and appointing 6 comrades to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. The Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term was introduced to the Congress.

The Congress also announced the Politburo's Decision appointing delegates of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee to attend the 14th National Party Congress, including 57 official delegates and 7 alternate delegates.

On the afternoon of September 30, the Congress closed, the Congress Secretariat presented the draft Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress. The Congress voted with 100% of delegates unanimously to pass the Resolution of the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress was a great success, opening a new period with many expectations, a strong driving force for all cadres, party members, and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho province to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity and unity. Besides, it is necessary to grasp opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges, unleash all potentials, promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, promote patriotic emulation movements, promote the strength of great national solidarity, cultural values, human factors, and be determined to strive to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
