Major General Tran Cong Duc, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the 34th Corps, gave a speech directing the exercise.

This time, the 34th Corps organized a one-sided, two-level command-agency exercise in the field for the 320th Division, with a mechanized infantry battalion conducting a comprehensive round exercise and air-ammunition firing; a one-sided, one-level command-agency exercise in the field for the following units: the 273rd Tank Brigade, the 40th Artillery Brigade, the 234th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, the 7th Engineer Brigade, and the 29th Signal Regiment.

Units practice according to each topic with the following contents: Changing combat readiness status; marching, stationing troops to receive combat missions; organizing combat preparations; practicing combat.

In his speech, Major General Tran Cong Duc, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the 34th Corps, Head of the exercise steering committee, acknowledged and commended the agencies and units for being active, proactive, and doing a good job in preparing for the exercise.  

Mechanized Infantry Battalion 1 (Mechanized Infantry Regiment 48, Division 320) practices river swimming during the exercise.

The Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the 34th Corps requested Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to strengthen political and ideological education, build high determination, the spirit of enduring hardships, and overcoming difficulties to successfully complete tasks for all officers and soldiers.

Research and master the content of the exercise, creatively apply principles and theories to the exercise process, ensuring the exercise is close to actual combat.

During the exercise, absolute safety of people, weapons, equipment, materials and documents was ensured. After the exercise, the agencies and units seriously drew lessons and continued to lead and direct the improvement of training quality, exercises and combat readiness.

The exercise will take place until October 10.
