Kinhtedothi- Surplus commune-level cadres, civil servants and part-time workers after the reorganization of administrative units will be supported based on the number of years of work and the number of years of work with compulsory social insurance.
On the morning of November 8, the People's Council of Quang Ngai province, term XIII, 2021 - 2026, held the 28th session (special session) to review, discuss and decide on a number of important contents, contributing to the goals of socio -economic development, national defense and security in the locality.
At the meeting, delegates of the People's Council of Quang Ngai province unanimously approved a Resolution stipulating support policies for commune-level cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers at the commune level who are redundant due to the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units in Quang Ngai province in the period of 2023 - 2025.
Accordingly, in addition to the policies and regimes on streamlining staff and termination of employment as prescribed by the Government , these subjects will receive additional support when they leave work.
Specifically, for redundant civil servants, if they leave work within 12 months from the date of the arrangement decision of the competent authority, they will be supported one time at the rate of 9 million VND/1 working year with compulsory social insurance (SI) to hold the position, title of cadre, civil servant, public employee; commune-level cadre, civil servant.
In case a commune-level cadre or civil servant previously worked as a part-time worker at the commune level, the working time in this position will be supported one time at the rate of 5.1 million VND/1 year of working as a part-time worker at the commune level.
If the employee leaves work after 12-24 months from the date of the competent authority's decision on arrangement, he/she will receive one-time support equal to 50% of the support level; if the employee leaves work after 24-36 months from the date of the competent authority's decision on arrangement, he/she will receive one-time support equal to 30% of the support level; if the employee leaves work after 36 months from the date of the competent authority's decision on arrangement until before the end of the arrangement roadmap, he/she will receive one-time support equal to 15% of the support level.
If redundant part-time commune-level workers leave their jobs within 12 months from the date of the arrangement decision by the competent authority, they will receive a one-time support of 5.1 million VND/1 year of working as part-time commune-level workers.
In case a non-professional worker at the commune level previously worked as a cadre, civil servant, or public employee; a cadre or civil servant at the commune level, the working time in this position will be supported one time at the rate of 9 million VND/1 working year with compulsory social insurance payment.
It is known that on October 12, 2024, the Ministry of Home Affairs submitted to the Government the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period of Quang Ngai province. Accordingly, Quang Ngai province has 7 administrative units (including 1 town and 6 communes) to be arranged.
After the reorganization, Quang Ngai reduced 3 commune-level administrative units. According to statistics, among 203 commune-level officials, civil servants and non-professional workers, 148 people were arranged according to regulations and 55 people were redundant.
