Quynh Nga surpasses Phuong Oanh

Runner-up Ngoc Hang - Lyubomir Yakimov showed the "fiery" spirit of paso doble and samba. Khanh Thi criticized Ngoc Hang for her handling of the paso moves. not refined, lacking emphasis, while Chi Anh disagrees with this opinion. He praised the dance "beautiful, everything is perfect".

At the end of the competition, Chi Anh gave 10 points, Ly Ly and Doan Trang both gave 9.5 points. The other two judges gave the number 9.

Quynh Nga breaks through

The 5th performance came from the Pham Lich - Boris Borisov team with a colorful flamenco and paso doble performance, with the support of choreographer Quang Dang. Pham Lich's creativity in combining dancesport and contemporary music won over the crowd.

Pham Lich shared that she was injured during practice. This helped the contestant score more points because they tried to complete the dance well. 3 points of 10 and 2 points of 9.5 for this duo.

Although the rumba and paso doble genres were chosen for the story-based performance, Red cuffs - The Korean historical drama that "made waves" in 2021, Hooyeon - Zhivko, was quite bland, making it easy for the audience to ignore. This couple received 4 9s and one 9.5.

In another development, for the first time, appearance is a disadvantage for Le Hoang Phuong. At the end of the competition night, Quynh Nga - Georgiev Dimitar topped the rankings with a total score of 9.8 from the judges and audience votes. Following them were Vi Anh - Valkov (9.56 points), Pham Lich - Boris (9.46 points), Ngoc Hang - Lyubomir (9.32 points), Hoang Phuong - Kris (8.89 points), Emma Le - Drosev (8.55 points), Phuong Oanh - Daniel (8.36 points) and Hooyeon - Zhivko (8.34 points).

No one will be left out as scores will be added up for the final on January 25.
