Mentioning the Mekong Delta, people immediately imagine gentle rivers, vast rice fields and simple farmers.

Bringing technology into agricultural production

The Mekong Delta is also facing significant challenges: climate change, salinity intrusion, and outdated farming practices. These difficulties seem insurmountable, but thanks to technological innovation, agriculture in the West is gradually changing.

PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) with the Phu My Fertilizer brand has pioneered in bringing modern technology into agricultural production.

DJI T50 Drones, like iron birds, are changing farming methods. No more laborious and time-consuming manual fertilization, now, in just a few minutes, Drones help spread fertilizer evenly, accurately, saving costs and increasing productivity.

Mr. Cuong, a farmer in Hon Dat, Kien Giang , shared: "Before, every time I fertilized, it took me all day, which was both tiring and expensive. Since having a drone, the work has become easier. Looking at the green rice fields and healthy rice plants, I am very happy."

Not only Mr. Cuong, thousands of other farmers are also benefiting from this technology.

Drones not only save time and money but also improve the efficiency of fertilizer use. Thanks to the smart sensor system, the amount of fertilizer is adjusted to suit each area, helping rice plants absorb enough nutrients, minimizing excess fertilizer, and protecting the environment.

The green rice fields are not only the pride of farmers but also proof of the sustainable development of Vietnamese agriculture.

There was a time when flocks of red-crowned cranes flew to the Mekong Delta, bringing peace. But then, climate change caused them to gradually disappear. Farmers looked up at the blue sky, missing the sound of their wings.

Now, that joy returns, not from the cranes but from the drones - the iron birds carrying hope and green to the fields.

A story about faith in the future

The story of the DJI T50 Drone is not only a story of technology but also a story of faith in the future.

Not only providing fertilizers, PVFCCo also organizes training sessions and provides technical guidance on drone use.

Mr. Cuong recalls: "After witnessing it with their own eyes, everyone believed it. The drone's rotating disc technology helps the fertilizer particles disperse evenly. Phu My urea particles are smaller but disperse more and more evenly than DAP and Kali. The technicians also set up fertilizer traps to prove that the amount of Phu My urea particles dispersed is much larger."

Drone technology is not only changing farming methods but also changing the mindset of farmers.

Mr. Ung, a farmer in Dong Thap Muoi, shared: "Since having drones, farming has become much easier. Before, I was worried that Phu My urea fertilizer would have uneven small grains, but after testing and seeing that the rice was greener than the control, I was completely reassured. Now, people around here even come to ask for the fertilizer formula to follow."

Mr. Giau, the owner of the drone fertilizer service, affirmed: "The drone can fertilize large or small fertilizer particles thanks to the smart sensor system, which helps adjust the appropriate amount of fertilizer. People can rest assured that Phu My urea mixed with any type is guaranteed to be effective."

The joy of farmers in the Mekong Delta is not only a bountiful harvest but also innovation and sustainable development.

Drones, technical training sessions, quality fertilizers - all aimed at a common goal: improving farmers' lives and developing sustainable agriculture.

Looking to the future, innovation in agriculture will continue to bring positive change to the Mekong Delta.

Western farmers, attached to the land and fields, are writing a story of sustainable development. In that journey, drones and Phu My fertilizers are reliable companions, bringing joy and hope to this land.
