After nearly 20 years of formation and development, Thanh Tuyen Festival has become an outstanding cultural event, a unique, distinctive and attractive tourism product of Tuyen Quang. To create a clean, green, bright and beautiful urban appearance, ready for Thanh Tuyen Festival 2024, Mr. Do Dinh Dat, Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang City People's Committee, said: The city has directed the People's Committees of communes and wards; functional departments in the city to do a good job of urban beautification, checking and repairing decorative electrical systems, lighting, pruning trees, cleaning the environment, and restoring urban order, not allowing encroachment on roads and sidewalks to obstruct traffic.

At the same time, propagate and mobilize people to clean up their homes, streets, and be clean and airy, join hands in cleaning and beautifying the streets. Along with that, organize the inspection and removal of old and damaged banners and slogans, and advertising signs that do not comply with regulations; increase human resources and means to care for and trim flowers and ornamental plants on flower islands and median strips, ensuring urban aesthetics, contributing to the good implementation of the code of conduct to build the culture of Tuyen Quang city "Civilized - Friendly - Clean and Beautiful" in the Tuyen Quang City Festival in 2024.

This year, the Festival of Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and Thanh Tuyen Festival with the theme "The Quintessence Convergence and Shining" is chaired by the Provincial People's Committee, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and 5 provinces: Tra Vinh , Dak Nong, Phu Yen, Thua Thien - Hue and Bac Ninh. The highlight is that representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity such as: Then singing, Tinh lute, Don ca tai tu, Bai choi art, Hue royal court music, gong cultural space, Bac Ninh quan ho folk songs will be performed with special art performances by famous Vietnamese artists.

Mr. Le Thanh Son, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: The festival showcasing the representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity will open on the evening of September 13. Thanh Tuyen Festival, with the theme "Sparkling colors of Thanh Tuyen Festival Night" will be held on the evening of September 14 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Tuyen Quang City). The festival will be broadcast live on VTV1 by Vietnam Television with the highlight being the parade of over 60 Mid-Autumn lantern models selected from the competition of the city and districts in the province.

Along with that, many unique and attractive cultural, sports and tourism activities will also be organized to serve the people and tourists such as: Cultural and sports festival of ethnic groups held from August 23 to August 25, at Cao Lan Ethnic Culture Village, Dong Son village, Chan Son commune (Yen Son); exchange and performance of representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity on September 14 at Tan Trao University, Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Provincial High School and Tan Trao High School; program "Cinema with Tuyen" from September 13 to September 14; Trade - Tourism Fair, from September 9 to September 15; "Exhibition and introduction of the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine" and Hanoi Beer Festival, from September 13 to September 15 in the city center; Provincial Club Table Tennis Tournament, Tan Trao Cup Tennis Tournament, Marathon, 3rd Off-Road Vehicle Show and many other activities of districts and cities in the province.

Tuyen Quang province currently has 448 accommodation establishments with 4,527 rooms, 6,393 beds, including 35 hotels ranked from 1 star to 4 stars, more than 250 large and small-scale restaurants. Up to this point, restaurants and tourist accommodation establishments in the province have basically prepared all aspects, ready to welcome visitors to the Thanh Tuyen Festival 2024.

Accommodation establishments in the city have also carried out a general renovation, improved service quality, creating a good impression for tourists when coming to Tuyen Quang. The atmosphere at the Cao Lan Ethnic Cultural Village in Dong Son hamlet, Chan Son commune (Yen Son) was also bustling and exciting when from August 23 to 25, the 2024 Tuyen Quang Province Ethnic Minority Cultural Festival took place here. Mr. Ma Van Thong, head of Dong Son hamlet, said: The villagers have cleaned the village roads and alleys, decorated the residential areas, created a clean and beautiful landscape, especially the 6 households providing homestay services in the hamlet have prepared the best conditions to welcome groups and tourists. The Cao Lan Ethnic Cultural Identity Conservation Club of the village actively practiced special performances to participate in the Festival, aiming to introduce to the people and tourists from near and far an impressive, attractive and unique community tourism destination.

Ready to welcome guests during the peak season, the functional units have taken action with the highest sense of responsibility.
