Dak Lak industrial production continues to grow in April 2025

The industrial production situation in the province in April 2025 continued to record positive signals with the industrial production index (IIP) estimated to increase by 12.26% over the same period in 2024.

In general, the industrial production situation in Dak Lak province in April 2025 continued to maintain a positive growth momentum, making an important contribution to the socio -economic development of the province. Specifically, all industrial sectors had significant growth: Mining industry increased by 16.83%; Processing and manufacturing industry increased by 16.78%; Electricity, gas and hot water production and distribution industry increased by 14.59%.
In the first four months of 2025, the industrial production index is estimated to increase by 14.23% over the same period last year. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry still maintains its role as a growth driver with an increase of 10.35%, while the production and distribution of electricity, gas, and hot water has an impressive increase of 20.09%. However, the mining industry recorded a slight decrease of 8.89%.
Regarding the production of key industrial products, the processing and manufacturing sector has had encouraging results:
Cumulative cassava starch output is expected to reach 71,000 tons, up 4.3% over the same period last year; Cumulative sugar factory output is expected to reach 52,000 tons, up 4.4% over the same period last year; Saigon - Dak Lak Beer Factory is estimated to reach about 27 million liters of beer, up 5% over the same period last year; Coffee powder factories are expected to reach 14,270 tons, up 3.4% over the same period last year; Steel factory output is expected to reach 114,000 tons, up sharply 29.5% over the same period last year.
The electricity production and distribution sector also made important contributions to the overall growth: Cumulative commercial electricity output was estimated at 901 million kWh, up 0.6% over the same period last year; Cumulative electricity production output was estimated at 1,997.2 million kWh, up 15.7% over the same period last year.
Infrastructure investment situation and attracting investment projects in industrial parks: By March 2025, the whole province has 08 industrial parks in operation and 02 industrial parks in the process of establishment, with a total industrial land area of ​​299 hectares. The occupancy rate of industrial parks is about 92%, attracting 179 investment projects with a total registered capital of about 7,000 billion VND and creating jobs for about 6,500 workers.
