Merging Hung Yen Radio and Television into Hung Yen Newspaper

On March 31, the Provincial Party Executive Committee issued Decision No. 1507-QD/TU on merging Hung Yen Radio and Television Station into Hung Yen Newspaper to form Hung Yen Newspaper. The decision takes effect from April 1, 2025.

According to the Decision, Hung Yen Newspaper is a public service unit directly under the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; is the mouthpiece of the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Yen province; a bridge of information between the Party, government and people; performs the functions of information, propaganda, press and media activities according to the Party's regulations and the State's laws. Hung Yen Newspaper inherits the tasks and powers of Hung Yen Newspaper and Hung Yen Radio and Television Station.

Hung Yen Newspaper is responsible for implementing Project No. 09 - DA/TU dated March 26, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee on merging Hung Yen Radio and Television Station into Hung Yen Newspaper. Preside and coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and relevant agencies to complete and arrange the organizational structure, assign and arrange cadres, civil servants, employees, hand over records, documents, seals, finance, assets and other issues according to regulations. Advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to promulgate regulations on functions, tasks and organizational structure of Hung Yen Newspaper according to regulations and instructions of the Central Government.
