Huynh Huu Phuoc keeps trying every day
This afternoon, October 10, translator Huynh Huu Phuoc - "the French-speaking shipper" is one of the guests of the online talk show "Students live quality lives, shine confidently " of Thanh Nien Newspaper.
Phuoc, the "French-speaking shipper" on Nguyen Van Binh book street, Ho Chi Minh City, has now returned to school thanks to the support of the community. He is also doing part-time work as a book translator.
In response to the host's question about how he has balanced his life, Phuoc sincerely replied: "I still cannot balance it, but I am still trying to find balance. Life still goes on day by day, everyone has the pressures of making a living, today I am more peaceful than before, but I am still being treated for anxiety disorder, still trying to control my worries. But everything is gradually getting better."
"Before, I always thought that life was something God had given me. If I didn't accept it, I would feel guilty, if I accepted it, I wouldn't know how to live. But now, I enjoy it - enjoy the stress and hardships of studying and working that I am facing, enjoy the peace and happiness that I have. If I feel pressure, it is pressure. If I feel light, it is light. How life is depends on how I perceive it," the translator of the book Daughter by French writer Camille Laurens confided.

When the program's MC suddenly asked the question "What do you think a quality life is like?", Huynh Huu Phuoc replied: "For me, a quality life is a life with hope. As I read in Lu Xun's book, "If it's called hope, it's impossible to say what's real and what's not. It's like the roads on the ground; in fact, there are no roads on the ground. People walk on them forever, and they become roads."
At the same time, the male student majoring in French at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education said that it is not important to him whether he shines or not, but more importantly how he lives.
"Each generation, whether Gen Z or Gen X, has this or that person, some with this way of living, some with that characteristic way of living. I just think that each person should not feel pressured because they only see the success and halo of others. For each person, to have halo and success, behind it are sweat, tears, and very difficult trade-offs that few people see. So I choose to live a life that before being myself, I have to understand myself, see where my strengths are, what my qualities are. Don't just look at the success of others, try to make each day better than yesterday," the "French-speaking shipper" expressed.
The French-speaking shipper shared, "Living a quality life means living with hope."
Talkshow Students live a quality life, shine confidently this afternoon , October 10, is part of the program "Opening the door to life with students" organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper with the support of Acecook Vietnam Company. Besides "French-speaking shipper" - translator Huynh Huu Phuoc, there is also the participation of comedian Minh Du and beauty queen Tuyet Nhi.
The program aims to encourage students to practice life skills, master nutritional knowledge, combine exercise and health training to study and prepare for the future ahead.
No matter how busy I am, I still have to cook.
Huynh Huu Phuoc shared that his mother is from the West, she cooks very well and has told her son many times to practice cooking, so that when she can no longer take care of him, he can take care of himself. Now far away from his parents, living alone in a rented house filled with books, Phuoc still cooks for himself.
The translator - "French-speaking shipper" cooks dishes that remind him of his childhood, such as braised fish - to remember his mother and grandmother. Or sometimes he really craves the Western-style banh la mit, which he hasn't had for more than ten years, a dish of his homeland and unforgettable memories with his relatives...
