'Super AI' video creator launched in Vietnam

On the morning of July 3, Google announced that it would bring the high-quality video creation tool Veo 3 to global users. Countries that were previously provided with the Gemini package can use this film-making AI of the American company. To access it, users must subscribe to the Google AI Pro package, priced at 489,000 VND/month. Pro accounts are granted 1,000 AI units per month. Each time a video is created with Veo 3, the platform deducts 100 credits for a high-quality video and 20 for a fast-format clip.

Google sells an additional AI Ultra package, priced at VND3 million/month. Paying more, users can create about 125 videos per payment. After running out, they can buy more for 100 credits/USD, starting at the $25 package.

However, in information sent to the press, Google Vietnam said the limit for creating videos is 10 times/month.

This is a relatively low number compared to the actual needs of users. AI video creation forms like Veo 3 require trial and error to find the best results. With only 10 videos, customers can only get a basic overview and function instead of applying it to many other purposes.

Currently, creating videos with Veo 3 is only available in the Gemini chat box. Users select the video function, AI automatically switches to the Veo 3 (Fast) model to perform. The high quality part is still not supported. In addition, the American software company has not yet opened Lab/FX in Vietnam. This platform provides more options for creating videos on Flow, which is more professional and has more functions than Gemini.

Veo 3 quickly made an impression on social media, outperforming OpenAI's rival Sora. The model offers a series of notable improvements, especially in photorealistic image processing. In addition, the software can also create sounds and dialogue, such as recreating the entire sound space.

Although it has not been officially launched yet, 8-second videos created by this tool have gone viral in Vietnam. Humorous images with Vietnamese audio have surprised many viewers about the capabilities of AI. On the other hand, it has also caused “junk” AI videos to be spread, creating fake news or causing trouble for other customers.
