The first super stock to exceed the price of 1 million VND is restricted from trading.

Accordingly, from May 25, 2023, this stock code will only be traded on Fridays every week.

HNX said that based on the review of the audited financial statements for 2022, HNX put VNZ shares under restriction because the organization registering for trading was late in submitting the audited financial statements for 2022 more than 45 days from the deadline for publication.

Within 15 days from the date of restriction, HNX requires VNG Corporation to have a written explanation of the cause and propose a solution.

VNZ is one of the most notable stocks on the stock exchange recently because of its dizzying increase after being listed and setting a new record in the history of the market with a market price of over 1 million VND/share. Accordingly, from 240,000 VND/share at the beginning of the increase on February 1, VNZ's market price peaked at 1,358,700 VND/share on February 15, equivalent to an increase of more than 4.66 times, becoming the most expensive stock on the floor. VNG's valuation reached 48,701.6 billion VND, equivalent to 2.06 billion USD in this session. But before the above ceiling price increase, VNZ shares went through 14 consecutive sessions without transactions (since being listed on January 5). In 7/11 ceiling price increase sessions, only 100 shares were matched each session.
