Supercomputer: Arsenal's Premier League title odds are 3 times higher than Liverpool's

Supercomputer Opta surprised everyone when it gave Arsenal an overwhelming chance to win the Premier League.

After 8 rounds, Arsenal is temporarily leading the Premier League with 19 points, 3 points more than 2nd place Man City.

The Gunners have scored 15 goals, the third most in the Premier League after Man City (17 goals) and Chelsea (16 goals). Arsenal have conceded four goals, the team with the fewest goals conceded in the Premier League after eight rounds.

That outstanding statistic could be the important basis for the Opta supercomputer to predict Arsenal's championship possibility up to 54.04%.

Liverpool and Man City are ranked next with the championship rate not too different, 17.21% and 17.05% respectively. Thus, Arsenal's championship rate is more than 3 times that of Liverpool.

Chelsea (4.76%) are also in the top four teams with the highest odds of winning the title. Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Bournemouth are next with odds of winning ranging from over 1% to under 2%. Man United are in 11th place with an odds of winning of 0.34%.

On the other hand, Opta's supercomputer predicts that three teams, West Ham (47.9%), Burnley (49.81%) and Wolves (69.09%) are at the highest risk of relegation. Meanwhile, Sunderland, Nottingham and Leeds will struggle to avoid relegation.
