The score distribution of 10th grade exam subjects has not changed much compared to previous years, is the opinion given by a leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training when the 10th grade exam marking council is entering the final stage of scoring and comparing results.  

Accordingly, the math exam had nearly 55% of candidates scoring above average, with scores concentrated at 5-7 points. The number of 10 points was less than last year.

Foreign language exam had about 32% of the exam papers with excellent scores and the number of exam papers with excellent scores was the highest among the 3 exam papers. The number of exam papers with score 10 accounted for 2.2% increase compared to last year.

In literature, about 90% of the exams scored above average, of which more than 12% scored excellent.

From the average score of the 10th grade exam, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that through the test results of the candidates, it showed that the exam was aimed at promoting the capacity, creativity and individual thinking of students. This was also shown through the fact that the number of zero points in literature and math decreased compared to last year.

At the same time, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also expressed their respect for the Examination Council for working very seriously. Although there were more strict regulations than in previous years, during the entire examination marking period, the examiners strictly followed the regulations.

It is expected that on June 20, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will announce the 10th grade exam scores of about 96,000 candidates. Candidates who want to have their exam scores reviewed should submit their application to the secondary school where they studied 9th grade from June 21 to 24. It is expected that on June 23, the Department will announce the benchmark scores for specialized and integrated 10th grade and on July 10, the regular 10th grade exam scores will be announced.
