According to the agreement, the three parties focus on four pillars: developing a Vietnamese data ecosystem to serve GenAI and education ; building smart learning tools for lecturers, students and learners; developing research infrastructure and partner networks; connecting schools with businesses to put research into practice and create high-quality job opportunities for students.
PTIT Director, Mr. Dang Hoai Bac, emphasized the project's orientation: “DeepEdu is not just a technology project, it is an innovative alliance between management agencies, schools, technology enterprises and the startup ecosystem. Following the spirit of Resolutions 57 and 71, this project is the foundation of a new knowledge infrastructure to help popularize high-quality learning to all students, aiming to personalize each student's learning journey, reduce regional differences and working time of teachers and lecturers.”

From a business perspective, Mr. Le Minh Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SotaTek, believes that the three-way cooperation will shorten the gap from research to application: “The three-way cooperation model will help us create AI products with practical applications and long-term social value. This is the path for Vietnam to not only access new technology but also master and spread it internationally.”

Co-founder and CEO of AI for Vietnam, Mr. Tran Viet Hung, emphasized the role of data infrastructure and open ecosystem: “We believe DeepEdu will become the core of an AI ecosystem serving education, contributing to affirming Vietnam's position on the global technology map.”
At the market level, Vietnam has seen the rise of regional EdTech companies and platforms, with a prominent presence in the recent Southeast Asia EdTech rankings. In line with this trend, international organizations have recommended a roadmap for bringing GenAI into education in a learner-centered manner, ensuring safety and equality in access.
In the policy picture, the National AI Strategy aims to put Vietnam in the leading group in the ASEAN region in AI research, development and application, while UNESCO recommends that countries develop guidelines for the use of GenAI in schools with ethical standards and data protection. DeepEdu is expected to connect policy goals with practical classroom needs through products and platforms serving daily teaching.
With the support of schools, businesses and technology organizations, DeepEdu is expected to contribute to innovating educational methods, promoting digital transformation and enhancing Vietnam's digital competitiveness, while spreading knowledge to the community.
