In recent times, in Dong Nai province, the police force has received many thank you letters from the people. These are not only words of gratitude, but also sharing and strong trust from the people to the officers and soldiers on the front lines to maintain the peace of people's lives.

Letters filled with love and trust

While taking care of her mother who was being treated at the hospital after a traffic accident that occurred on August 11 in Binh An commune, Ms. Bui Thi Phuong Dieu (25 years old, living in Binh An commune, Dong Nai province) could not hide her emotions when she heard that the Dong Nai Provincial Police had found the person who caused the accident.

Immediately after hearing this news, she wrote a letter of thanks to Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police, and leaders of professional units for quickly investigating and verifying her mother's accident. In the letter, Ms. Dieu described the time and place where her mother, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (53 years old), was hit by a car, causing serious injuries to her leg. After causing the accident, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

After the incident, Ms. Dieu and her family filed a petition to the Provincial Police to report the incident, and sent a text message to the Provincial Police Director's hotline to report the incident. With this information, the Provincial Police Director directed the professional units to quickly investigate. After only a short time, the police force identified the person who caused the traffic accident and conducted an investigation.

According to Ms. Dieu, when she heard this news, while she was being treated at the hospital, Ms. Phuong and her family were very happy and touched by the active participation of the police force.

Ms. Dieu shared: The family was deeply moved when they were informed that the police had found the driver who caused the accident. During the investigation, the police force repeatedly visited the scene to actively investigate. This demonstrates the attention and direction of the provincial police leadership and the determination to protect the legitimate rights of the people.

Not only young people, many local people also sent emotional letters to the police force expressing their gratitude for the police agency's handling of related cases.

In a handwritten letter, Mr. Dao Trong Nghia (residing in Cam My commune, Dong Nai province) expressed his feelings when the police force quickly clarified the case of durian theft from his family.

In a letter to the Cam My Commune Police Command and the local security forces, Mr. Nghia expressed: “Thanks to your high sense of responsibility, dedication and smooth coordination, the thief was promptly arrested. Your enthusiasm, bravery and devotion to the people have left a deep impression on our people.”

In the letter, Mr. Dao Trong Nghia expressed his absolute trust in the police force, and affirmed that this timely action not only protects people's property, but also strengthens trust, creating peace of mind and excitement in the community.

Each letter is a real-life story, a vivid demonstration of the close relationship between the people and the police force.

Spreading the Movement of All People to Protect National Security

From the simple thank you letters, a great message was affirmed: The people always accompany and share with the police force in the cause of maintaining security and order. The people's trust is the strength, the solid rear for the police force to be more determined to complete the task.

To spread that spirit, Dong Nai Police have been promoting the National Security Movement (NSM). This is not just a slogan, but has become a concrete action with many creative models, close to people's lives.

Recently, in many residential areas, the Security Camera model has been deployed, helping the police force promptly detect and handle violators; the model of Self-management Team for Security and Order or Safe Hostel... has promoted the self-management role of the people, closely connecting the grassroots police with the community.

It is the direct and enthusiastic participation of the people that has created reliable "eyes and ears", making an important contribution to the work of preventing and fighting crime.

In addition, the police force also expanded channels for receiving information and reporting crimes through hotlines, suggestion boxes, and applying information technology.

In particular, the Provincial Police have stepped up the deployment of hotlines by providing phone numbers of the Provincial Police Director; Chief Inspector of the Provincial Police, Criminal Police on Duty... In addition, police of units and localities have also set up fanpages providing phone numbers of leaders and command boards so that people can promptly report information on issues related to security and order...

The letters that people have sent to the police force in recent times are not only words of thanks, but also encouragement and strength for the soldiers to stand firm on the front line. The people's companionship is the solid foundation for the police force to complete its mission of maintaining peace in life.

Directing at the National Day for National Security Protection (held at Binh Loc ward, Dong Nai province at the end of July 2025), Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung suggested: Recently, the province has had many good and creative ways of building the National Movement for National Security Protection. In the coming time, the locality needs to continue to promote good and creative ways of building the movement. The police force needs to grasp and promptly resolve the legitimate and legal needs and aspirations of the people. In addition, it is necessary to regularly innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of the National Movement for National Security Protection in conjunction with other movements and campaigns in the locality, ensuring practicality, suitability with the actual situation, ensuring security and order at each agency and unit, focusing on the grassroots, so that the majority of people can directly participate, truly becoming a national festival.
