Opportunity to establish a new development vision

After the merger, Da Nang city has the opportunity to establish a "new development vision", becoming a national tourism center, a gateway to tourism in the Central region, aiming for the goal of "super urban area of ​​heritage - events - innovation" by 2050.

To make this vision a reality, Da Nang needs to focus on many groups of synchronous solutions. First of all, it is necessary to expand and upgrade tourism infrastructure, with special attention to hotels, resorts, MICE conference centers and inter-regional transport systems.

Maintaining and improving service quality, especially in 4-5 star hotels, will create competitive advantages and motivation for developing ancillary services in free trade zones and international financial centers.

On the basis of 5 pillar product groups, the city needs to develop more unique products, associated with cuisine , culture, health care, and organize many major international events to enhance the brand.

A diverse product system, synchronous infrastructure, safe environment and guaranteed tourism security will help Da Nang retain tourists, while creating opportunities for them to return many times.

In addition, innovation and digital transformation are considered inevitable directions. The application of VR360 technology, QR codes, cashless payments, combined with promotion via Google, TikTok... will bring a seamless, modern experience to tourists.

Da Nang also needs to continue perfecting the institutional framework and flexible incentive policies to attract strategic investors in high-end tourism and international services.

To me, Da Nang is not only a tourist city but also a giant film set with rich backgrounds from beaches, mountains and forests to modern cities or nostalgic fishing villages. Every street corner, every beach has its own story. When filming “Let’s go home!”, the scenes in Da Nang helped us fully portray the connection and emotions of a family on an exciting and surprising journey.

Da Nang has ideal conditions to organize large-scale events, cultural festivals or become a setting for movies. However, to create its own mark, the city needs to more strongly evoke emotions and cultural identity. Instead of focusing only on big events, Da Nang should aim for in-depth experiences, where visitors and residents can clearly feel the culture and local people.

Along with that are open mechanisms, policies and strong communication strategies to attract more opportunities, as well as invite talents to join hands to spread the city's image. I believe that, when knowing how to tell its own story in the language of culture and people, Da Nang will not only be an "event city" but also a "city of emotions", a lively and potential film studio on the world cinema map".

In our eyes, Da Nang is a city that has all the potential to position itself as the “event city” of Vietnam and the region. This is an ideal foundation for organizing large-scale cultural, artistic and fashion events, while creating a special attraction for the public and international tourists.

What makes Da Nang “unique”, in our opinion, is the openness and pioneering spirit of the people and government here in supporting and accompanying creative arts. In Da Nang, the human factor is an important key to the success of events. Da Nang people are famous for their friendliness, hospitality and pride in the city, always ready to accompany, participate in and support events.

Da Nang not only organizes events, but also turns each program into an experience associated with the landscape and local identity. We once had the opportunity to bring VUNGOC&SON fashion to perform amidst the nature and space of Da Nang in the Cruise 25 show - where fireworks were brilliant and you could really feel the youthful, vibrant but also full of identity energy that few cities in the region have.

It is the intersection between modernity and nature, between creativity and locality, that makes Da Nang different. Da Nang is a “livable city” and completely deserves to become an “event city”, a big stage for art and creativity, becoming a proud international meeting place of Vietnam.
