Giving 285 gifts to patients treated at Quang Tri General Hospital during Tet

In order to encourage and share the difficulties with patients who have to stay in the hospital for treatment during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin - 2024, this afternoon, February 9, the leadership and functional departments of the Provincial General Hospital visited and gave gifts to all inpatients at the hospital.

Accordingly, leaders and doctors of the Provincial General Hospital visited each patient room to check their health, encourage and give 285 gifts, including cash and candy with a total value of nearly 50 million VND to inpatients being treated in the hospital's departments and rooms.

Happy to receive meaningful Tet gifts, patients and their families expressed their emotions and sent thanks to the leaders of the Provincial General Hospital for their timely encouragement, sharing, and helping them alleviate some of the difficulties and disadvantages of having to stay at the hospital to celebrate Tet.

Director of the Provincial General Hospital, Doctor Phan Xuan Nam said that this is an annual activity of the unit every time Tet comes, spring comes, showing care, encouragement in spirit and material to help patients and their families ease homesickness when having to stay in the hospital during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation, helping them have more strength to feel secure in treatment, soon overcome the pain of illness to return to their families.

During the long Tet holiday, the Provincial General Hospital has arranged enough doctors and nurses to ensure that emergency, treatment, and health care for the people take place smoothly, promptly, and effectively...

It is known that from January 11 to February 19, 2024 (the 1st - 30th of December, the year of the Cat), the Provincial General Hospital coordinated with many individuals and charitable organizations to donate over 10,000 free meals; 973 cash gifts with a total value of nearly 254 million VND along with many meaningful programs and activities to call for and mobilize the cooperation of kind-hearted people to support patients in difficult circumstances being treated at the hospital.
