Why is there no mention of the Egyptian pyramids in the Bible?

Although coexisting in the historical context, the Bible - the most important religious history of mankind - does not mention the Egyptian pyramids at all. Why is there this "avoidance"?

The Bible is widely accepted by scholars as a historical source for events that took place in the Middle East and parts of Europe from around the 2nd millennium BC. Yet there is not a single line in the Bible that mentions the Egyptian pyramids.

There are many paradoxes in historical science and here is one example of them: The Bible is recognized by researchers as a historical source that tells about events that took place in the Middle East and in parts of Europe from about the 2nd millennium BC. Yet in the Bible there is not a single line mentioning the Egyptian pyramids.

It is well known that the Egyptian pyramids were truly a masterpiece, a marvel of engineering, a “gem of construction” both in their time and in modern times. Is there some kind of conspiracy theory involved?

A word about the Egyptian pyramids: did Thoth have anything to do with the pyramids?

Let's just take this for granted - the gods who created Egypt and all the gods worshipped in Egyptian pantheons were once... human.

Please do not misunderstand, dear readers - we do not mean to say that these gods were once mortals, and then suddenly (through some special merit) became gods.

The thing is, every Egyptian god had a real-life prototype—be it a great warrior, a wise ruler, a talented physician, or a brilliant engineer.

Now a few words about the pyramids. It is a well-known fact that even with modern technology, it is impossible to recreate the Egyptian pyramids in their original form.

Modern researchers have conducted many experiments, including the transportation of huge blocks of stone. But there is one thing they cannot deny: the Egyptian pyramids are truly complex structures, and to build them, the engineers must have possessed truly extraordinary abilities.

The man who possessed such extraordinary abilities actually became the prototype of the god Thoth. A talented engineer named Thoth is said to have been the one who contributed greatly to the construction of the Egyptian pyramids in the first half of the 3rd millennium BC.

Thoth later became one of the gods of the Egyptian pantheon. And then, much later, the Bible was written (it is unclear exactly when the Bible was written, but it must have been at least a thousand years after the pyramids were built). What is the point of all this?

"There is no other God but..."

The Bible declares that there is only one God in the world, and it was He who gave the commandments to Moses, parted the waters of the sea, burned Sodom and Gomorrah... Other supernatural figures, although not denied by the Bible, are hinted to be not divine, but evil forces, and their worship is not merely sinful but also life-threatening.

Now the question arises: So did the ancient Jews know about the existence of the Egyptian pyramids? The answer can only be "Yes," because after all, the ancient Jews were slaves in Egypt for quite a long time, and of course they would have seen the pyramids.

Of course they had to know who built the pyramids, and how. Don't forget that at that time Thoth was not an engineer in the Egyptian sense, but a god. Judging by what he was said to have built, he was quite a powerful god.

The mention of the Egyptian pyramids in the Bible would inevitably lead to the need to account for who built the pyramids, when they were built, and what was the purpose of building the pyramids?

The pyramids are wonders of engineering thought and technological practice, which has been affirmed by mankind in all ages. Therefore, the author of the Bible, whether he wanted to or not, had to admit the greatness of some pagan god who built them, which is completely contrary to the guiding ideology of the Bible.

Let us not forget that the Bible, although a valuable historical source, is a special historical source, religious, mystical, and in a certain sense - also propagandistic.

What is mentioned here is just a hypothesis, but it is very close to the truth - a matter within the framework of scientific thinking.

Are the pyramids useless?

If we take the version of the Bible accepted by most historians in the world , and summarize everything that is said in this version, the story goes like this:

The Bible describes all sorts of disasters that befell the ancient Jews, their interactions with other peoples, including the Egyptians, and the path that led the ancient Jews to God.

Pyramids certainly existed at the time the Bible was written and throughout the events described in the Bible. However, the pyramids cannot play any role in the Bible - they stand silently in the desert and that's it.

It should also be noted here that the Bible's silence on the pyramids indirectly refutes the theory that they were built by Hebrew slaves.

There are passages in the Bible that describe the participation of Hebrew slaves in the building of some Egyptian cities, but do not specifically say what structures they built.

Therefore, the fact that the Bible does not mention the Egyptian pyramids is explained by historians as the pyramids having nothing to do with the events described in the Bible.

In addition, this is also because the ancient Jews in principle did not know for what purpose the pyramids were built./.
