Training on organizing Khmer language teaching in the summer

On the morning of July 25, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province held a training conference on organizing Khmer language teaching in the summer of 2025.

Attending the conference were 40 delegates who were civil servants in charge of ethnic affairs at commune and ward levels and teachers directly teaching Khmer language during the summer at Khmer pagodas in Kien Giang province (old).

The delegates were introduced by the reporter and presented with documents related to the Khmer language subject general education program; agreed on some contents on the Khmer language teaching lesson plan during the summer; some professional tasks of opening and managing classes; instructions on payment and settlement of funds to support teachers participating in teaching Khmer language during the summer...

This year, the whole province has over 200 Khmer classes with thousands of students participating.
