Training on administrative handling in the field of dikes and disaster prevention and control

On the morning of July 26, the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), the Department of Administrative Violations Handling and Judgment Enforcement Monitoring ( Ministry of Justice ) coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thanh Hoa province to organize a training conference on administrative handling in the field of dykes and natural disaster prevention and control.

The conference was attended by 200 officials from the Dyke Management Departments, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the People's Committees of communes and wards in districts, towns, and cities.

Also at the conference, delegates listened to the reporter from the Department of Administrative Violations and Law Enforcement Monitoring present basic new points on administrative sanctions prescribed in the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations in 2020; basic contents of Decree No. 118/2021/ND-CP, dated December 23, 2021 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations; basic contents of Decree No. 03/2022/ND-CP, dated January 6, 2022 of the Government regulating sanctions for administrative violations in the field of natural disaster prevention and control, irrigation and dykes.

Delegates attending the conference also raised situations, problems and difficulties in the practical application of legal regulations on handling administrative violations of dikes and natural disaster prevention and control at the local level.
