Focus on successfully organizing the Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum 2025

On the afternoon of September 9, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc chaired the Conference to deploy the implementation of the OCOP Product Connection Forum in the Mekong Delta region in 2025 in An Giang province.

At the conference, the forum's Organizing Committee updated the event's progress; the results of the implementation of tasks of provincial and local departments, branches and sectors; pointed out difficulties and problems of the units, as well as solutions to successfully organize the event.

Specifically, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang coordinated with units to design the overall exhibition space, images, and identity of the forum and select the implementing unit; deploy tasks for the opening and closing ceremonies of the event; carry out site handover, logistics, and ensure security and order for the event...

Up to now, there are 36 units participating in the forum, with a total of 75/151 booths from localities: Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City... In addition, there are 45 booths from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and 30 booths from An Giang province.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc requested agencies and units to have detailed plans to carry out tasks in the spirit of clear people, clear work, clear completion time. In particular, coordination activities must be synchronous, avoid overlap, ensure high efficiency; sub-committees in the Forum Organizing Committee must urgently coordinate to carry out tasks, if any problems arise, they must immediately report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for timely direction.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to quickly advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a plan to adjust the organization time and supplement activities as requested by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

As for other members of the organizing committee, they need to actively complete assigned tasks according to their roles and responsibilities, especially organizing photo exhibitions on OCOP products and the OCOP product culinary festival as requested by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment...

The Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum 2025 with the theme "Linking for mutual development - An Giang 2025" took place from September 25 to September 28, 2025 at Nguyen Hue Walking Street (Long Xuyen ward), with a scale of 226 booths.

Within the framework of the forum, there will be a contest for typical OCOP products in the Mekong Delta region; a conference on production linkage and a space for displaying Vietnamese OCOP products; a workshop on OCOP product development and a conference on connecting trade for OCOP product owners of provinces and cities participating in the forum...
