At the Conference, TKV representative said that currently in Thai Nguyen province, there are 11 member units of the Group operating, mainly in the fields of mining, mineral processing and construction materials production. During the production and business process, the units always receive timely attention and support from provincial leaders, departments, branches and local authorities.

In the first 9 months of 2025, the output of main products of TKV units in Thai Nguyen reached 69.6-87.6% of the plan; estimated revenue reached 3,970 billion VND, budget contribution was 436 billion VND, equivalent to 69.2% of the yearly plan. The units ensured stable jobs for more than 3,800 workers, with an average income of 12.8 million VND/person/month. From 2021 to present, TKV and its member units have spent over 58 billion VND to support social security work in the locality.
In addition to the achieved results, the operations of TKV units in the area still face some difficulties and obstacles. Implementing the "TKV Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045" approved by the Prime Minister, the Group has identified Thai Nguyen as a strategic location for continued investment and development. Therefore, TKV recommends that the province promptly remove obstacles in land planning, site clearance and investment procedures in a number of projects, in order to ensure stable production activities, environmental safety and make more positive contributions to the local socio -economic development.

Specifically, for Khanh Hoa Coal Mine and Nui Hong, TKV proposed to add area to the mineral planning, arrange resettlement land fund, approve compensation plan and allow the use of waste rock and soil as filling material. La Hien Cement Joint Stock Company proposed to add land for Dong Chuong Limestone Mine project. Thai Nguyen Nonferrous Metals Joint Stock Company - TKV needs support to expand zinc, lead, tin mines and add waste dump area.
In addition, Cao Ngan Thermal Power Company and Thai Nguyen Mining Chemical Industry - TKV proposed that the province create favorable conditions in procedures for projects producing unburnt construction materials and expanding industrial explosives warehouses...

At the Conference, the leaders of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee discussed and clarified the contents that TKV requested support and solutions. Regarding the proposal on expanding and allocating land funds at mines, the Provincial People's Committee requested TKV to closely coordinate to complete the documents and legal procedures to supplement and adjust the planning.
Regarding Thai Nguyen Hotel, the provincial People's Committee leader said that this is a location in the central urban area of the province, but the unit has not been properly invested for many years, resulting in low business efficiency. Therefore, the province requested TKV to coordinate to soon implement state capital divestment, land valuation and completion of related procedures, creating conditions for the locality to use land funds and invest in accordance with the planning.

On behalf of the Group, Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan thanked Thai Nguyen province for its attention and practical and effective support for TKV in the past time. He emphasized that the adjustment of planning, including land and mine planning, will create favorable conditions for the Group's units that are producing and doing business in the area. Regarding Thai Nguyen Hotel, he assigned the Board of Directors to establish a Working Group to coordinate with the province to remove difficulties and obstacles.

Speaking at the Conference, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung highly appreciated the attention and active cooperation of TKV with Thai Nguyen province in recent times. He assigned the Provincial People's Committee to immediately establish a Working Group headed by Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Loan, to coordinate with the TKV Working Group to focus on resolving difficulties, problems and proposals and recommendations from both sides.
Regarding the 7 recommendations of TKV, the Working Group must clearly define the roadmap and time to handle each issue, and regularly report to the provincial and Group leaders for timely direction. Regarding the issues related to Thai Nguyen Hotel, the Provincial Party Secretary requested TKV to proactively complete procedures and implement related processes, in order to create conditions for the province to access land funds, coordinate with investors to implement projects of equal caliber, serving the local socio-economic development.
