On the morning of December 12, the People's Committee of Thai Thuy district held a conference on land management, site clearance (GPMB), and auction of land use rights in the district in 2023, and directions and tasks in the coming time.

In 2023, the District People's Committee focused on leading and directing departments, offices, specialized units and People's Committees of communes and towns to carry out site clearance for 21 projects. Compensation and support for site clearance for projects complied with the provisions of law, the site clearance progress basically met the requirements, and the site was promptly handed over to investors for construction. By the end of November 15, 2023, the land area that had completed site clearance was 397,321.2m 2 , the land area that had not yet been recovered for site clearance was 387,573.1m 2 (currently, the inventory work of 271,442.5m 2 has been completed, compensation and support plans are being developed, the plan is being publicly posted, and the plan is being submitted for approval).

In the work of land allocation, land lease, and issuance of land use right certificates, the district has allocated land to 9 units and organizations, with a total area of ​​135,574.2m2 ; initially issued 1,368 land use right certificates to individual households. By the end of December 2023, Thai Thuy district expects to collect more than 66 billion VND from auctioning land use rights at commune, town and district levels. Regarding the work of handling land violations, the District People's Committee successfully enforced land violations in An Tan and Thuy Son communes; urged and guided the review and handling of violations in the land sector in Son Ha, Duong Hong Thuy, Thai Phuc, Thuy Son and Duong Phuc communes.

In 2024, Thai Thuy will auction land use rights at 530 lots in 22 communes and towns (managed by the commune) and 128 lots managed by the district with a total area of ​​about 9 hectares of residential land, expected to collect land use fees of more than 900 billion VND (excluding commercial housing projects). To achieve that goal, the district will strengthen state management of land, determine specific land prices as a basis for determining starting land prices and price adjustment coefficients for land auctions and site clearance work; guide communes and towns to develop plans for land use rights auctions. In addition, promote site clearance work, focus on propaganda and extensive mobilization to all cadres, party members, and people, especially households with land and assets related to the project on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on compensation and support for site clearance; The People's Committees of communes and towns shall preside over and coordinate with the district's departments, offices and units to review, collect, consolidate and complete land records of households to ensure compliance with regulations; the District Center for Land Fund and Industrial Cluster Development shall preside over and advise the District People's Committee to focus on conditions to speed up the progress of site clearance for projects and hand over the site to construction units to implement the project according to regulations.
