Da Nang speeds up 90-day campaign to get rich, clean up land database

DNO - On the morning of October 7, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a conference to review and continue implementing the 90-day campaign to enrich and clean up the land database according to plan No. 515/KH-BCA-BNN&MT dated August 31, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

Attending the conference were Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Head of the Steering Committee for Plan 515 of the city Phan Thai Binh ; Deputy Director of the Department of Land Management (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) Mai Van Phan, along with leaders of departments, branches and leaders of 94 communes, wards and special zones in the city.

Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Pham Nam Son said that building a "correct - sufficient - clean - viable - unified - shared" land database is an urgent requirement.

The core objective of the national campaign is to create a core foundation for developing e- Government , serving transparent and effective state management; improving the quality of public services, and reforming administrative procedures for people and businesses.

For localities, the campaign sets out two major tasks: reviewing, cleaning, and completing the entire land database that has been built over time; collecting, digitizing, and creating new data for land and housing certificates that have been issued but not yet included in the database.

In Da Nang, after the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment issued the plan at the end of August 2025, the city proactively implemented it in a systematic and synchronous manner.

Up to now, the database has been converted from a 3-level model to a 2-level model with more than 1.2 million land plots (100%); identification codes have been built for 100% of the land plots in the database; data has been extracted to transfer to the City Police a list of more than 1.2 million land plots for data authentication.

Organize the classification of land plots into 3 groups; build software to update information and complete instructions for collecting from certificates and citizen identification cards.

At the conference, delegates were thoroughly informed of the 90-day campaign's content, clearly guided on the technical process, especially discussing difficulties and problems after more than 1 month of implementation; thereby agreeing on methods of coordination, monitoring and reporting progress, ensuring substantial results, synchronization and information security.

On this occasion, the City People's Committee announced the decision to establish a Steering Committee to implement the 90-day campaign to build and complete the city's land database (referred to as the Steering Committee) headed by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh.

Announcing the decision to establish a Steering Committee Working Group headed by Mr. Pham Nam Son, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, as Permanent Deputy Head, and 24 members representing relevant departments, branches and units.
