After Hanoi FC won 2-1 against Thanh Hoa in round 5 of V-League 2025 - 2026, interim coach Yusuke Adachi had some notable comments.

"Losing early is not a big deal, because we have enough time to play our football as planned. Of course, it would have been better if we had not conceded such an early goal," coach Adachi replied when asked about the performance of Hanoi FC's defense.

"We had many shooting opportunities, although we struggled a bit at the start against Thanh Hoa's style of play. Once we got into the rhythm of the game, everything started to go well."

This is the first time Hanoi FC has enjoyed victory after 4 rounds of only draws and losses. The 3 points gained against Thanh Hoa brought Hanoi to 8th place on the V-League rankings.

Although it is still too early to talk about the hope of returning to the championship race as the goal set at the beginning of the season, for Hanoi this is still an optimistic signal.

"Hanoi players have never lost confidence. If the players continue to play like this, confidence will gradually turn into belief. Through each match with good results, the team will regain confidence in their ability to compete for the championship," Coach Adachi shared.

In round 6 of V-League, Hanoi FC will play against the underdog Da Nang . This is another good opportunity for the capital team to win more.
