Thanh Hoa fireworks display to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On August 19, 2025, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province issued Plan No. 171/KH-UBND on organizing an art program and low-altitude fireworks display to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

According to the plan, the art program with the theme "Thanh Hoa - Proud of the country" will start from 8:00 p.m. on September 2 at Lam Son Square, Hac Thanh Ward. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned to preside over the implementation, in coordination with the following units: Provincial Police, Hac Thanh Ward People's Committee, Department of Health , Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio - Television Station, relevant departments, agencies and units.

After the art program, the Provincial Military Command organized a low-altitude fireworks display lasting 15 minutes, starting from 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Funding for the event came from socialized sources.

The program aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, arouse patriotism and national pride, and foster people's trust and pride in the Party, the State and the cause of national renewal.

Thereby, creating unity within the Party, social consensus, effectively implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; encouraging and motivating cadres, party members and people in the province to overcome all difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, determined to successfully complete the goals and tasks of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, the 13th National Congress of the Party and the Resolutions of the Central Committee and the province; bringing the country into a new era - the era of strong and prosperous development of the Vietnamese nation.

The Provincial People's Committee requires art program organizers to ensure that they comply with regulations, are solemn, meaningful, safe and economical; organize low-altitude fireworks displays to ensure compliance with current legal regulations and actual situations, ensure security and order, and absolutely ensure fire and explosion prevention.
