Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Ministry of Public Security from the source of "Comradely affection", 29 members of the Association of Former People's Police of Ca Mau province with especially difficult circumstances were supported to build solid houses. Each house was supported with 60 million VND from the Ministry of Public Security , along with additional contributions from the Provincial Police, the Association of Former People's Police, philanthropists, officers, soldiers and relatives in the province.

Immediately after receiving the assignment, 10 youth volunteer groups of Ca Mau Provincial Police coordinated with the Commune Police, the grassroots security and order protection team and local authorities to dismantle old houses, move items, helping to reduce labor costs and shorten the implementation time. By July 20, 2025, more than 300 Youth Union members of the Police had completed the demolition of 29 dilapidated houses, ready to enter the new construction phase.

Moving to a new phase, the Provincial Police Youth Union is determined to speed up the progress of completing the demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses with many specific activities taking place continuously from July 21 until now, typically: filling the foundation, leveling the ground, transporting materials, supporting construction units to speed up the construction process... Up to now, there have been over 420 youths supporting the groundbreaking of 9 new houses, bringing great confidence and motivation to the members of the Association of Former Police Officers.

The Youth Union members of the Commune Police are determined to support the members of the Association of Former Police Officers to demolish temporary and dilapidated houses.

The houses that are gradually taking shape are not only a safe and stable shelter for members, but also a living symbol of the spirit of "Comradely affection", continuing the glorious 80-year tradition of the People's Public Security Forces. This is a clear demonstration of the pioneering role, responsibility and enthusiasm of the youth of the Ca Mau Provincial Police in the work of caring for social security, connecting the People's Public Security Forces with the People.

Mr. Nguyen Binh Em, a member of the Tri Phai Commune Police Veterans Association, was moved: “We did not think that, at our old age, we would receive such enthusiastic care and support from the police force, especially the Youth Union members. These actions help us feel warmer and more confident in the solidarity between generations in the force.”

On the way towards the important holidays of the country and the Public Security sector, this meaningful activity not only helps to realize the goal of "No one is left behind" in the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, but also clearly demonstrates the sentiment, responsibility and tradition of solidarity and affection of the Public Security force towards previous generations.
