The second week of January, the 24th Road to Olympia saw 4 contestants compete: Tran Khanh Dung (Luong Ngoc Quyen High School, Thai Nguyen), Bui Tuan Tu (Thuong Tin High School, Hanoi ), Dinh Thuy Ngan (Huong Can High School, Phu Tho), Nguyen Thanh Phuong (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang). In the Warm-up round, Thuy Ngan and Thanh Phuong temporarily took the lead with 50 points in the individual round. Immediately after that, when entering the general round, the contestants were very active in scoring points and achieved impressive scores. Specifically, Khanh Phuong took the lead with 90 points, Thuy Ngan 70 points, Tuan Tu 55 points and Khanh Dung 20 points. The Obstacle Course round was a 10-letter mystery. The first horizontal line had the question: "Find the missing word to complete the name of a story about the character Nguyen Hien: Mr... flying a kite". With the answer "Trang", Khanh Dung and Tuan Tu each got an additional 10 points. The next horizontal line had the question: "Fill in the missing word in the ellipsis in the following verses: One or two can tilt a country or a city, Beauty must demand one talent, must draw two/.... nature is innate, Mixing poetry and painting is enough to sing and recite". With the answer "Thong minh", Tuan Tu, Thuy Ngan and Thanh Phuong each got an additional 10 points. The next horizontal line had the question: "What are the people who held the real power to rule Dang Ngoai and Dang Trong in the 17th-18th centuries in Vietnam called?". With the answer "Chua", all 4 contestants got an additional 10 points. After finishing the third horizontal line, Thanh Phuong and then Thuy Ngan also pressed the bell to answer. Both gave different answers, but Thanh Phuong was the one with the correct answer when answering the keyword "Trang Quynh". This helped the male student consolidate his leading position in the climbing group with 150 points. In the Acceleration round, Tuan Tu was the best when he answered all 4 questions correctly, including 3 fastest answers to get an additional 150 points. Thanh Phuong, although only answered 3 questions correctly, still brought home an additional 90 points. At the end of this round, Thanh Phuong continued to lead with 240 points, closely followed by Tuan Tu with 235 points. Thuy Ngan had 160 points and Khanh Dung had 100 points.

In the Finish line round, Thanh Phuong chose the 3-question package worth 20 points. The male student answered 2 questions and won 280 points. Next was Tuan Tu's turn with the 20-20-30 point question package. The male student was very confident and gave extremely accurate answers. Thanks to that, Tuan Tu won 275 points, only 5 points less than the leader. Thuy Ngan chose 3 questions worth 20 points. In the first question, the female student could not give the correct answer and lost 20 points to Thanh Phuong. The female student only answered one question correctly and won 140 points. Khanh Dung was the next person to participate in the Finish line round with 20-30-30 points and a star of hope in the last question. Despite her best efforts, the female student still sadly lost 50 points to Thanh Phuong, helping the male student consolidate his leading position with 350 points.

In the end, Nguyen Thanh Phuong was the laurel wreath winner with 350 points to enter the monthly competition. Second place was Bui Tuan Tu with 260 points. In third place were contestants Dinh Thuy Ngan with 140 points and Tran Khanh Dung with 20 points.
