Quang Tri children won 5 prizes at the 2024 National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest

Today, October 24, in Phu Tho province, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a closing ceremony and awarded the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest. The Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union had 5 students participating with 6 entries. As a result, 4 students won prizes, including 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 1 special prize.

Specifically, Nguyen Ho Hoang Dung, class 7A, Nguyen Bim Khiem Secondary School (Trieu Phong district); Nguyen Kha Minh, class 3D, Kim Dong Primary School (Vinh Linh district) won second prize. Pham Le Thao Hien, class 11A1, Gio Linh High School (Gio Linh district) and Hoang Duc Son, class 9B, Trung Nam Primary and Secondary School (Vinh Linh district) won third prize. In addition, Nguyen Ho Hoang Dung won the topic prize with the most impressive entry.

The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest has been held since 2019 for students across the country to inspire a passion for reading, forming reading habits and skills in the young generation. Through this, students share good books, spread the love of reading, promote the reading movement, develop a reading culture in the community, improve access to information, knowledge, creativity, and arouse the desire to contribute and develop the country.

According to the organizers, this year's contest had many entries that were presented elaborately and creatively, demonstrating excellence in ideas, book selection, content, and writing talent. At this year's closing and award ceremony, the organizers awarded 4 titles of Outstanding Reading Culture Ambassador, 8 First Prizes, 16 Second Prizes, 32 Third Prizes, 64 Encouragement Prizes, and thematic prizes.
